Do you mean TransCabo? If so, I have used them and did not experience any problems at all. They were waiting as promised outside the airport after you walk through the snakepit of Timeshare vendors. I have also used Los Cabos Airport Shuttle with no problems whatsoever. Their email is [email protected] Good Luck!

My wedding coordinator recommended them, however I have not seen any reviews or seen any pictures of them. Is anyone on here familiar with them and do you recommend? Thank-you!!

Traditional wedding cake Vs. Cupcakes

I sent my wedding coordinator a picture essentially identical to yours (we also had one giant cupcake on top so that we could do a tradition cutting of the "cupcake"). We only paid what worked out to $6 per cupcake though -- quite a bit less and for what looks like the exact same thing. We had 75 cupcakes in three different flavors (chocolate cake-vanilla icing, vanilla cake-chocolate icing, key lime) and it also looks there are three different icing flavors in your photo. I think the total was $450. Hope this helps. WoW!! I just clicked on your slideshow and was sooo touched by pictures. I love love love how your photographer captured each and everyones emotion. You wedding was absolutely beautiful. Thank-you so much for sharing. -
Awwww..Thats to bad that your having a hiccup with Erika's word. Good luck & keep us posted.

Traditional wedding cake Vs. Cupcakes

My wedding coordinator has quoted me $150 for cupcakes to feed up to 50 guests, and that includes a cake on the top layer to do the traditional cutting. Thank-you for your input. I think the price your WC quoted seems alot more reasonable. Just curious, Is your WC quoting an outside vendor or are you getting married at a specific hotel that will be doing your cake. -
Does anyone have any input on the price of a traditional wedding cake Vs. a non traditional cupcake cake. I emailed this inspiration photo to my WC and she quoted me a price of $370.00 for 35 people. Does this seem reasonable? I am taking into consideration that I do want 1 tier for the traditional cutting ceremony, but the total comes out to more than $10 per cupcake. I recieved the menu pricing on the cake from the food & bev director and the price fro a 3 tier cake that feeds 40-50 people comes out to $335.00 What do you think??

Yes we are staying at the Casa Dorada as well. We attended a timeshare presentation & ended up purchasing a 5 year deal. It's a beautiful new hotel right in the heart of medano beach. I am very excited about this location. Let me know if you have any ?'s that I may be able to answer. -

Update! Yes! We are finally getting the ball rolling on this. I have received an initial proposal from the Casa Dorada and am in the midst of working with Wedding Coordinator Sarai Flores. -
Hello all Casa Dorada Brides, I want to start a thread to get in touch with past & future brides of the Casa Dorada. We are planning on getting married in September, but am having some trouble getting an initial proposal from Gonzalo who is my contact at CD in charge of the big day. I know this is a new Hotel, and have contacted a few brides here that experienced some hiccups as well. Thought it would be good to utilize this thread for support, advice and encouragement. Feel free to share your planning stages. Thank-You

Hi Mineaux, I just got back from the Santa Fe about a month ago. PERSONALLY, I wasn't impressed on the Pacha disco at the Santa Fe. I don't think I took any pictures of it but I will double check. We peeked in to take a quick look. The outside is painted hot pink and aqua blue..sort of reminded me of romper room. Inside the place was dark and had cherries painted all over the walls. The bar took up most of the space and it was quite small. Perhaps this may work for your wedding party though. However the Disco at the Palace Riu was way better IN MY OPINION. Good Luck!

Photographer review - ALBERTO MISRACHI (LARGE)
Cabobride09 replied to cabobridey's topic in Cabo Wedding Vendors
Thank-You Holly for posting your review on Alberto. Because of your excellent review and beautiful pictures we decided to meet with him last week when we were in Cabo to get a feel for his work. HE IS AWESOME! So nice and accomodating. We met up with him on Friday morning. We had a good feeling about him and we were sold on the price!! We decided to test him out the following evening with engagement pictures at sunset. He arrived at our hotel and picked us up. He drove us first to Pedregal which is a private beach on the pacific side, however there was some sort of private event so then he drove over to another location located at the sheridan. The following day he dropped off the CD at our hotel. We are soooo pleased with his quality of work and prices. There is no doubt he is who we will be using for our wedding next year. We saw him randomly on Sunday photographing a Wedding at ME Cabo and ran into him again at the Airport on Monday on our way home! It was soooo cool. The CD contained well over 300 shots. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure. -
Reception site...pueblo bonito rose or riu
Cabobride09 replied to Almand2Be's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
I just came back from staying at the Riu Santa Fe over the weekend to check out the site as I was originally planning on having my wedding here. I'm really glad that I did because I have now changed my mind. It wasn't what I had expected or had in mind for my wedding. Pueblo Bonito Rose is so much more convenient. Locaction wise and what they have to offer. I made a list of pro's and con's and the con's outweighed the pro's by a landslide. We decided to have our ceremony at the new casa dorada which is approx. 4 hotels down from PBR. If you want specifics you can PM me and I can go into details. Happy Planning. -
Any input on the Casa Dorada?

The wedding planner is a little more than what I wanted to spend but she has also been wonderful. I also looked at a number of different sites in Cabo and Casa Dorada to me was the best. We own a timeshare there and the place is beautiful. We were also able to work out some great deals for our guest accommodations. Please feel free to ask me any other questions that you have. Hi! I'm curious to know what kind of deal were you able to work out for your guests? It would be great if we can all stay in one central locations, however I know this is a very expensive hotel for some of our guests. We just bought a 5 yr. timeshare so we are very excited to have our wedding reception here. -
Any input on the Casa Dorada?
Cabobride09 replied to stelladiver's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
I think the Casa Dorada is the perfect place. My Fiance and I just returned over the weekend from Cabo to scout out locations. We absolutely love the view the ceremony locations and most of all the customer service that this hotel provides. We loved it so much we bought a 5 yr. time share so we can stay there as well. This Hotel is the sister to Me Cabo which is right next door. They are experts at weddings and I have complete faith after talking to staff and the banquet manager that they will do an excellent job and will do anything to accomodate our requests. Good luck! -
I would also book 6PM without a doubt. It is sooo hot and bright at 4pm, especially in June. You will be squinting in all the pictures you take on the beach.

Here we go on our trip! Bummer we got tropical storms out right now. The weather is so unpredictable, and I can't bear to take any chances. Hurricane Julio has settled into a tropical storm for the moment, however it's kinda making me want to push our date up a little earlier. X-O. I shall return with pictures and information which will ultimately decide our fate ;}
