my parents are not able to make it...my dad is very ill and can not travel. We are getting married before legally with them and FH family and that is fine with us. As long as they are seeing us get married that is all that matters.

alright ladies-I just mailed the invites out this afternoon! I can't wait to see the RSVPs start to come in. After I get a better idea about the guest list I will start to get the rest of the stuff together. I still need the OOT bags and somethings to put in there...less than 4 months to go!

Hi girls! I am back from PA and it was awesome. The people are so nice and the location is great. WE went into the little town a few times and walked around the marina. If your friends are into swimming with the dolphins or fishing it is right in the marina and a 4 minute walk. As far as the hotel itself it was a great experience. The food is outstanding-I think I gained 5 pounds. The staff is so nice and they go out of their way to help you with anything. The wedding gazabo is really pretty and it located on the beach that is not as crowded. I'm not sure if they would let you have a reception at El Patio but that is literally right next to it-the bar is not too far from this either. The gym is brand new-a bit hot but good equipment. What else can I tell you? Ask me a ton of questions... Also the concierge staff (Gaby and Sylvia) are awesome and the manager Oscar is great!

I think-I could be wrong it was $600-we are getting married at Tulum so it could be a bit cheaper since you are getting married at Maroma and it is closer to Cancun

the one that I saw was right next to the relax pool on the beach. When I was talking to Anabel I had suggested that we could put DJ mannia in there so maybe there is some sort of electricity in there. I can not believe how time has FLOWN by! But look who is talking because you only have 2 months and 20 days!! By the way when I was talking to Anabel she mentioned that you could extend the party until 11:00 pm on the beach. Also Amy she mentioned we could do a tequila tasting so maybe you started a new trend

the reason they are taking a really long time to get back to everyone right now is because this is their high season-when I was there on Tuesday they told me that they were at 93% capacity. I met with Anabel and she was great and she totally knew everything about my date and my plans. I wouldnt worry about Lizet-I know that they also have a Natalia also helping out. Why dont you try to call/email one of the concierge's there and ask about upgrades for the wedding. I cant imagine them being at 93% capacity then.

I will tell you on my way down to Puerto Aventuras there must have been 5 check points with the military looking for drugs. When you finally get to your resort they have "mucho security" I really feel safe being that they really screen you when you come into these resorts.
