Wow-I just read her review and I have to say that she sounds very negative. it is funny how people can only see the bad in places. Since I was there I will try to combate the things she said as best I can and I will be honest... 1-the beach-yes, trash does float uin, BUT every day I saw someone rake and clean all the trash from the beach-that is not Dreams' fault but the other people in the area 2-The wedding gazebo is away from the beach and you will not hear any children playing there 3-The beach is small but it was not an issue-plenty of area to lay out and lounge and when we were there, the sun was shining the entire time 4-the food...we had excellent food the entire time. Oceana isn't "romantic" it is by the marina and is really pretty actually-it is open air and the food was AWESOME All I can say is this, my future husband is very very very judgemental-we went to Negril last year for a weekend and he HATED it-we stayed at Sandals-at one point on our trip, he asked me why we were not getting married here. He has been telling all of our friends what an awesome place it was... I hope this makes you future PA brides feel a little better.

I would read through the Dreams Tulum thread and the reviews on here. I am biased because I am getting married at DT-I did a site visit and loved it! Good luck

If the catamaran is out of Puerto Aventuras it is about 20 minutes away from Dreams Tulum-it is an easy drive up one highway. I would assume that most of them are out of there. It is a cute marina with little restaurants and stores.

I had one the other night-I had a dream that I was getting ready for the wedding and I forgot who I was marrying. I kept thinking-why am I here? Where is the man I going to marry? I kept thinking about it and then I remembered-hello, I live with Jay-I am marrying Jay! I am sure that as the wedding gets closer I will have more anxiety dreams!

I sent my invitations out a month ago and only a handful of people have returned them! Talk about annoying!!!

My Aunt isn't able to go on the cruise with us since her daughter just got married on Saturday. Her new son in laws parents didn't offer to pay for much so my Aunt was really upset she couldn't find a way to have enough money to go. I totally understand I told her. So we are going to mail out an OOT bag with a nice note saying "Have a drink with us for our wedding!" and how we wish she could have been there with us. I hope she's going to like it!! Cattie-you have so much done already! I am so impressed!!! I need to get my butt in gear. I was kind of in denial that the wedding was so soon.

You can't base your decision on trip advisor alone. There are some people who will never be happy no matter what. I would base it off of what everyone on here says and their experiences

we are in the same boat as far as people attending. So far we have 23 people including us. Thinking we will end up with maybe the most 30. IF you do some searches on here on wedding reviews you can see what other brides decided for locations. For us, we really want everything outside since it is so pretty there

The gazebo is really pretty-it looks right over the water. I am sure you can do 10-20 people in there.

It is Private Label by G...the best part of it was it was under $500!
