    Has anyone had any experience with the salon at the Riu Negril with hair and makeup or any place outside the resort in Negril? I wouldn't mind going out of the resort to do the hair and makeup for the bridal party since we're having our wedding outside the resort anyway. My WC quoted me about 75 for makeup and 80 for hair, for an outside resort salon. The Riu doesn't have prices for their services so i have nothing to compare it to. Thanks!

    I'm trying to decide for how long to get a band for and/or a DJ? My WC mentioned that usually people get a band for the ceremomy and a DJ for the reception. But i'm not sure. Also, do you pick what they play or do they send you something beforehand? And if anyone knows any good ones in Negril please let me know. Thanks!

    Thanks everyone This was really such a hard decision, to make sure that everyone will be happy and to get a good price. Now have to get everyone else booked. We're having our guests use our travel agent b/c she seems to be giving us the best prices so the guests are happy!

    We finally booked our travel, we're staying at the Riu Negril. Dec 31- Jan 10. We also booked to do our wedding at Negril Escape. What a great feeling! Hope everything turns out alright.

    We're thinking the Riu Negril, right next door to Couples. Take advantage of the watersports, those guys are fantastic.
