KellyC - how did your wedding go After the hurricanes passed...all was well I assume?

I am getting very nervous that I'm forgetting things for our wedding. We are getting married on November 14th and I've only been in contact with Daniela 3 - 4 times. I just sent my guest list a couple of days ago and have asked her 3 times now if she needed anything else from me and she has never said anything other than please see updated checklist...... What were your experiences with this - should I be worried or will she have it under control

I can't wait either....we are 3 weeks to ours so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I am getting married there in November on the beach. I will upload some pictures once I get back - hopefully that will help you in your choice.

Hi Smile999 I am totally fine with you using the word version. I will send it to you in a PM. We are getting very close to the wedding and are very busy but because we are moving into our new house this week as well. Yep nothing like stressing yourself out right before the wedding....lol

Kristina - how did you get in contact with Daniela? I emailed her on Monday and have got no response and my wedding is a month away!

Oh and yes if you choose to have your supper in one of the resturants without making it a private event then beer & wine are included. They will charge for other drinks however we just told everyone if they wanted something else to go to the bar and get it....doesn't really make sense being that it's an all inclusive resort.

The steakhouse is where we are having our whole supper. We just didn't need to pay for private....it just doesn't guarantee you'll have to whole resturant however you still have a mic and ipod player to play music. I haven't talked to her since June or July - does that seem right? No single friends but sounds like between your group and our group - it's going to be busy. We have some pretty serious drinking vetrans as well...lol. What day do you fly in? I didn't realize that you got your room free with 25 rooms.....we would be really close to that too. Yes it was $1300 USD to book the whole boat. We hve 50 plus people coming so we just booked the entire boat. That really only works out to about $30 a person so it depends on how many people you get to come. We paid for it as the one activity we organized while we were there. Oh and has Daniela contacted you any further than the inital contact with all the paperwork?

We aren't doing our supper as a private event as we figured with 55 of us that we would have a good protion of the steakhouse. We also requested 1 table with everyone so we thought we would save that cost. We did however book the nightclub at the resort for the $500 fee just to have a private place to do the first dance. Everyone said the nightclub is never full but this way it guarantees us the club from 8-11 on the night of the 14th. You will see us there!!!

We are sending a little information page out with out OOT bags that includes what we have organized. We didn't want anyone to feel obligated to attend anything either so we kept it pretty casual. The night we get there we suggested anyone who wanted to participate in a meet and greet to meet in the lobby bar at 7:00pm. The only other things we planned was a Jungle Booze Cruise that we paid for that includes snacks and drinks for everyone and then we planned a night out in downtown as a stag / stagette type of thing. I have had some contact like when she sent the sheets to fill out with wedding party information and such but was told she would contact me closer to the date to discuss the other details? I will have to get in touch with you KAMAY11 once you get back....you must be getting so excited!

We are getting married at the Riu Palace on November 14th. I still haven't heard from Daniela regarding any of the finer details...when does she normally contact people? Also we booked the nightclub for after supper - does anyone have any experience with this? Did you just bring your ipod or did you send a list to Daniela? She said if I sent a list the DJ would download the songs to play for us for our dances.

Hi All, I just received all my info from Daniela yesterday as far as choosing flowers, cakes, meals, locations etc. We were thinking about paying the $500 site fee for the "Pacha" nightclub after the reception. It will be ours from 8:00pm - 11:00pm as a private event and will include a DJ and a bartender. We are having about 40 people so I think 1 bartender will be fine. Has anyone else done this? As well any feedback from anyone who had their reception at the Steakhouse Rest. She is saying that if we have a bigger group that it's easier to choose from a standard menu option so that we get better service - is this really the case. As well they offered for free enough sparkling wine for a toast for everyone if we wait until the reception instead of on the beach. If we do on the beach - our package only includes 3 bottles and we would have to pay $25 each bottle after. Thanks, Tanya

Hi There, I am just starting to plan my wedding at the Riu Palace Los Cabos. I should have confirmation from the WC early next week on the 13th or 14th of November. I have selected the Caprice package which says it includes supper for your wedding group - is that the entire wedding group - all 80 that the package covers?? As well I have selected the beach for our locations and am wondering how nicely it will be set up without an additional decorations. If anyone has anything for tips and advice please let me know. Hi there, My name is Tanya and well obviously I'm recently engaged. Our wedding date is November 13th or 14th - we are still awaiting final confirmation from the hotel.
