After deciding to change resorts, my FI and I are finally meeting with our TA today, to discuss other options. I am crossing my fingers that we are able to pick a new resort!! In the mean time I have been glued to the computer every night trying to get as much information as possible about the AI resorts around Playa Del Carmen and Cancun, and which ones meet our expectations for what we are looking for in a resort. I will be releived when we find our resort, this has been a very frustrating part of our planning!! It is important to us that we have a private ceremony and reception. We also are hoping to find a place where they arent doing multiple weddings in one day. This is exactly what we dont want!!! Don't get me wrong..that set up looks AMAZING...but look at all of the people lounging around tanning just a few feet away!! SO I am looking for advice, as I'm sure there are other brides out there with the same expectations. Have any of you found a location that offers more privacy?? Thanks ahead of time, you ladies are amazing!!

The economy really has me freaked out. We recently have lost 2 neighbors due to foreclosure. It makes me really nervous for wedding planning too since prices keep going up.

Just a few questions regarding the El Dorado Royale free dinner for 40! Are guests given the option to chose from a menu. OR are we able to pick out a few dinner options? If we have more than 40 people, are we just charged a per person rate? I take it this is food that is served regularily as part of the all inclusive package? Is this reception private..or just a certain amount of tables set up in a restaurant I am just starting to research EDR so if anyone could help that would be great! Thank you!
