If you do an advanced search and type my name in you will see a post that says "Frustrated and Stressed..no longer a DC bride" not sure if that's the exact title. But in there it goes into detail about why we changed resorts. We basically changed our mind after some bad reviews. Now we are looking at the Royal Cancun or The Royal in Playa...but not sure yet. Keep in mind though that someone will always have a bad opinion on where you want to have your wedding. My FI just wouldnt budge after hearing a story about DC so we are on the hunt again for a resort. I would just do as much research as possible, contact a Travel Agent for advice that's what has been really helpful for me! Best of luck to you and feel free to pm if you need anything

Hi everyone, I found a girl out of MN on craigslist who is doing my invitations (125 invites) for $250! I thought that was a steal, and will save me the stress of making them on my own! If any of you want her info. let me know. She is very quick to respond, and very professional. I didn't like the first round of invites that she made, and she was very understanding and started over again. I am the most non crafty person EVER..so she has come to my rescue!! Today she sent me the 1st draft of the invites that we are going to use, i AM SO EXCITED!! We are changing our resort, so obviously the information on our invites will change. But I feel like something is missing. Not sure if I like the outside border being white..I was thinkng she could use either the teal or chartreuse for the border. Also, not sure if I am a big fan of the fonts she used. She has our names in a plain times new roman font, and I'm not sure of which font the rest of the wording is in. Also do you think it would be tacky if I asked her to place just a few green little jewels on the designs in the corners?? Also, do you think the wording sounds weird?? I have looked everywhere online for the Royal Cancun wedding menus and pictures of reception and ceremony locations..so I guess I'm looking for all the major details. We are planning to get married there around October 16th '09. Are you honeymooning at the Royal Cancun?

Does anyone have information on the Royal in Cancun. I am looking for pictures, details...EVERYTHING!! The only info I have is the wedding package details that they have on their website. My fiance and I are looking at getting married there but havent heard back from the WC. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED..THANK YOU!!
