Don't worry, I'm disappointed with how many guests are not coming... It seems that the all the DW brides loved their wedding regardless of how many people came, so that keeps me from getting too upset about it

Hey everyone, I was just wondering out of all the guests you invited, how many guests are attending/attended your wedding in Cabo? It may help me get an estimate on how many guests to expect.. Thanks!

I totally feel for you. It's hard to be excited about wedding planning if people are making you feel guilty. Although I'm not in the same situation as you, I too have had DW doubts. My closest friend who first said she would be coming now tells me that she can't afford it. I thought about helping to pay for her expenses in order for her to come, but at the same time I did give her almost 2 YEARS notice and I feel like if she really wanted to be there, she would have saved up. On the other hand, I have other friends (who aren't as close) in worse financial circumstances putting money away each month in order to attend the wedding. It's so weird how people who you think are definitely going to come, don't show up and people you never thought would ever come, do show up...

Awesome review! Thanks for being so honest about the good and the bad of your cabo vendors... It's really helpful! It was nice to see all the hotel pictures so I kinda know what to expect for my wedding at dreams.

Gabriel Garcia and Gilda were my top choices but Gilda wasn't available for my wedding. Gabriel has been great so far though! I loved the pics on his website, and he's been really prompt in returning my emails. I found his prices were really reasonable too. Hope this helps somewhat

Don't worry too much about tripadvisor... When I went on that site, pretty much every hotel I searched for had at least a couple of bad reviews!

I'm glad you were able to figure everything out! Wedding planning can be so stressful sometimes, so it's nice that now you will have others to rely on! Congrats on booking your wedding location! I'm sure lots of hotel F brides on this forum will be here to help you out

$1000 for a week is a really good price! I wish I could offer that great of a deal to my guests!!

Thanks for the welcome! Here's a question for you August girls.. I was talking to one of my vendors and he was very surprised that I was having my wedding reception outside. He said that August Mexico weather would be 100F even at night and it would be really uncomfortable for my guests.. I've seen a lot of brides on this forum get married in August but I don't want my guests to be dying from the heat.. What are you girls doing for your reception?

Does Dreams provide any chairs or tables for your guests to sit down during the cocktail hour or are you expected to rent lounge furniture?

Thought I'd give everyone a little update: It's been about 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything from Lazy gourmet, which is disapointing but like gabride said, they seem too busy for my business and that's not something you want for your wedding anyway!

I picked coral pink and aquamarine.. I think they work well with a beach setting..

I've been to about 58 countries but I visited a lot of them as a child as my parents needed to travel for work.. But as I grew up I caught the travel bug as well and I try to go somewhere new every year (if it's in my budget)

For those of you who just rented the speakers, Dreams didn't charge you $200 for each location did they? It was just $200 for the night? Just wanted to double check, since there seems to be location charges for decor setup....

I contacted Lazy gourmet around one and a half weeks ago (via email) about possibly renting some stuff from them, but I haven't heard a word from them. Is this normal for them, or have I been forgotten about? Other people I've contacted have at least let me know that they've received my email... Any info about this would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure it's not too hard to do, there must be some demo about it on youtube or something
