  1. Hi everyone! I just posted an update on my dispute with Bittersweet.. It under the thread name "Very upset with bittersweet wedding designs right now.." in the flower subforum (I think it's on the 2nd or 3rd page) Unfortunately, my update has no good news with concern to my dispute
  2. UPDATE: Hi everyone! Just wanted to keep you guys up to date on what's been happening. Just came back from my DW. I had an amazing time! Paradisus resort flowers were perfect so I didn't even think about the flowers that Bittersweet never sent.. HOWEVER, that being said it's been almost a month since all this has happened and STILL NO REFUND. I received an email from crystal today and she informed me that it "is out of [her] own kindness" that I am receiving a refund and that she will not give a refund until I send back the flower order that she sent to me incorrectly. I refuse to do this as every promise she has ever made has not been kept (I never got a refund for my legal wedding bouquet, never got my flowers in time for the beach wedding after receiving the wrong flower order, and never got a refund for the deposits we paid despite her saying she would). I have even offered to ship her flowers with cash on delivery (meaning that she will be required to send me a refund check in order to take flowers home from the post office). However, she still refuses to do this, which makes me VERY suspicious that she is not planning to refund me at all.. I have sent her a final request for cash on delivery shipping, and if she does not do this I will take her to court as well as inform the public about her company via newsmedia. I can't believe that even after a MONTH since this has happened things are not resolved. To the brides who are waiting for your flowers, I would look into getting another vendor immediately. I wouldn't wish my "bittersweet" experience with crystal on anyone... Thanks for listening and supporting me through this everyone! I couldn't have stayed sane without you all

  6. Here's the latest update: I received my credit for the bouquet but I never received the flowers Crystal PROMISED I would have in time for my beach wedding.. She didn't even BOTHER to SEND them!
  7. *Sigh* Here's my latest update: I received a credit for the bouquet I had to run out and buy, but Bittersweet didn't even BOTHER to send me my flower order in time for my beach wedding (despite saying she would, she even posted that here on the forum in another thread)... So now I have no flowers for my beach wedding..
  8. I haven't been to Dreams Punta Cana but I have been to Dreams Los Cabos, and I found the hotel amazing! I don't think you will be disappointed if you get married at Dreams Punta Cana
  9. Hi everyone, just wanted to give a little update! I had a wonderful legal wedding ceremony! My last minute bouquet that I ran out and got the day before the wedding was BEAUTIFUL and came ON TIME... I had a wonderful day, and luckily everything turned out well, despite the drama that had happened the day before... Meanwhile, I still haven't been given ANY money back for the cost of this last minute bouquet, even though Bittersweet has posted on THIS forum that she has ALREADY GIVEN it to me! I also don't have any emails stating that my actual flower order from her has been shipped either, so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that it will arrive in time for my beach wedding, however I have yet to be pleasantly surprised by this vendor...

I'm praying that doesn't mean 21 years of bad luck!!!! Maybe it will reverse the bad luck I've had lately!! If your'e waiting to hear from me, expect to hear from me soon! Actually, it's been 4 days since this mixup happened, and I STILL DON'T have the money credited to me for my bouquet.... Don't have any email saying my flower order has been shipped either...

It won't be peonies, but that's okay, I've decided to dedicate a little prayer to my dad instead. Crystal has agreed to pay for the bouquet that I had to buy for the church wedding, and says she is still going to send me my order in time for the beach wedding (hopefully it works out this time!). She is very sorry this has happened, and at this point I'm just going to let it go and just concentrate on enjoying the day tomorrow. I'll leave the worrying about the flower order arriving for another day.. Thanks again to everyone for all their support! Couldn't have worked through this without you guys!
  12. THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone for all of your support and ideas! I am still trying to figure out what's going on... I did find out that a bride in Newfoundland has my flowers, and I think I have hers (unless there are other orders that are mixed up)... I just feel terrible for the other bride... At least I will have a beach wedding next week so there may be time to still receive my order, but if she has her wedding tomorrow there's no way she'll get her flowers in time, even if I sent them now... I have talked to other florists and they told me that in an event like this (however no one has heard of florists that have not only sent the flowers PAST the deadline but also sent the wrong order!) I should be entitled to a full refund, plus still receive my order of flowers as soon as I can receive them, and be compensated for the extra money I will now have to spend to have flowers for my wedding tomorrow. I was told that florists usually refund you anyway just for being late, let alone getting the wrong order. I am still waiting for Crystal's reply.... Thanks again. I will keep you updated!
  13. Sorry for the outburst... I had ordered a bouquet of peonies from bittersweet because they were my dad's favourite flowers and he passed away recently. They were going to represent my memory of him. Now that the bouquet is not here, I will not be able to get fresh peonies by tomorrow (called florists and tried) and they're not available for the D.R. so that's really why I'm soo upset... :*(
  14. She's emailed me and said she would give a refund and I need to send the other flowers back.. UM HELLO?? I NEED MY FLOWERS!!!!!!!!! I DON'T WANT A REFUND!! THAT'S NOT GOING TO HELP ME! She's going to ruin both the church wedding AND my beach wedding!!!!
  15. I'm am about to LOSE IT! Not only did I get my flower order from Bittersweet later than the deadline I gave but IT'S THE WRONG ORDER!! I've RECEIVED SOMEONE ELSE'S flowers!! My legal church wedding IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've tried to contact her but can't get ahold of her... I don't know what to do!

I was going to have my AHR in September (about a month after) when it was still warm but it looks like we may be moving from our place when we come back, so we be having it much later than we had previously planned! I don't think our guests will really mind when it is as long as they get to celebrate with us at some point

  19. Most of our guests are staying for about a week and half, so I chose monday as it was in the middle of the trip for them

Here's my update so far: I got a photo of my bouquet which looks fabulous! I also got a photo of the bridesmaid bouquet (great arrangement, but colour looks orange rather than coral, however she did say that her camera did not capture the colour properly, so I guess I'll have to wait and see as there was no time to change it! I DIDN'T get a photo of the centrepieces I've ordered, even though I emailed twice asking for those.. I'm guessing she wanted to make sure that the shipment arrived on time and didn't have a chance to take the photo.. However it would have been nice to see what I was getting, or at least get an acknowledgement that there actually ARE centrepieces that are being shipped! I have yet to see what the boutonnieres look like too.. But at this point as long as my flowers actually ARRIVE ON TIME, that's all that matters to me right now! I will post pics of the flowers as soon as I get them! Thanks again everyone for helping me keeping it together!
