  1. Why did you drag the stove across the floor? And- you need to come to my house and drag my stove across my floor so that I can clean our from underneath of it. I have so many cat toys, golf balls [Francis putts and chips in the house] and I think a few kitty dinner plates that have been kicked under there. I love the flipflops. I wanted to buy those too, but Francis veto'd them out. He has too much of a say in the OOT bags I think. LoL. ~~
  2. Thats so cool that we bought the same ones. I decided that I'm only going to give one box out per bag, I don't want them to be too overbearing. Plus, my OOT bag items are starting to collect. I don't have a dinner table anymore!!!! ~~
  3. We are doing OOT bags and favours. For our reception favours we are giving out handmade wine charms and something else- I haven't decided yet. Our OOT bags are going to be a collection of practical and unique things. I'm like the previous poster, I love shopping and giving gifts. ~~
  4. I'm adding tequila to mine. Maybe some little vendor trinkets. Plus, my bridemaids gifts will be jelewery from there. ~~
  5. My soon to be sister in law is moving to Melbourne- she's a nurse, plus my fiance worked at a mine outside of Adelaide last summer for three months- he's an engineer. ~~

  7. I think we are going to be doing one bag per single, regardless of whether they are staying together. I think it might be that "individual welcome" that they might find appealing. Maybe? I guess I'm looking at it that if I'm giving teenagers and children their own bags, then why not singles. ~~
  8. I just got the email too. However, I did a quick check and I don't think that they have the cameras that I'm looking for- which are underwater cameras. ~~
  9. Thanks for the site. My sister is a Mary Kay consulant and I know that she will go bonkers over this stuff. ~~

  11. Welcome. I know that you will have a great time planning. ~~
  12. I know. I have gotten a few things from there for my OOT bags. I think what I like best about the store is that the items that you pick up from there are not "cheap-looking." If you go tomorrow, definately look for "No.48 Wild Honey Hand Cream." We are also adding those to the bags and they smell amazing. ~~
  13. I just found this site on ebay. Check it out. New Sexy Furry Love Handcuffs Fuzzy Cuffs Shackle - (eBay.ca item 380023309172 end time 07-May-08 20:23:04 EDT) ~~
  14. I bought some from San Fransico, which is a novelty store here. Maybe try that. Or, try a place where you might buy costumes at. This is a very good idea. I know a few of my guests would enjoy these too. ~~
  15. All Canadians out there, here is another amazing Dollarama product. These flower candles come in all different colours: pink, violet, blue, green, white, yellow, orange, red, fuschia, burgandy. I'm thinking of throwing two packs into each OOT bag just because they are so beautiful. Plus, they all come in their own little clear box, so with a hint of ribbon or raffia, these will look darling. ~~
  16. I have a problem. I'm doing one OOT bag per couple. However, I also have a few singles "rooming" together. So, would I give each "roomie" their own OOT bag? What about Mother/ Grown Daughter pairs? Do they get a "couple" bag or an individual bag? I would assume that all singles, even if they are staying together get their own bag, but I just want to make sure. Thanks. ~~
  17. I got 200 3x4 organza bags from my fiance's aunt but they are the wrong colour. They are lavander. I'm wondering if I'm able to dye them another colour, and if this is possible, how? I'm wanting something along the lines of turquoise, fushia, or green. Thanks!!!! ~~
  18. Thank you so much for the bath bomb recipe. We really want to make our own bath bombs. Now just deciding on a fragrance.... ~~
  19. Thanks Tara. We switched our OOT bags to waterproof vinyl bags, just so that our guests would be able to throw their wet beach towel in there without any concern. I did look at those beach containers from OT- which I'm thinking we might grab. The only problem with giving the locks prior to departure is that my guests are leaving from all over the Canada, plus from South Africa and Australia, so I'm not wanting to send them out prior because of the cost of shipping. ~~
  20. Two questions for everyone. 1) Are you buying your guests luggage locks? If so, are you buying the pad-lock type of the dail type? 2) Are you buying water proof containers for the OOT bags? Like, for you guests to put their valuables, keys for the luggage lock, etc. in? Thanks. ~~
  21. Haha, no worries. We all have moments like this. I'm the same way some times. ~~
  22. I have been told by my TA that I can bring a photographer with us to the Barcelo, just as long as they are staying as an "overnight guest" in the hotel. There ar also several posts on here from other girls who have gotten married at the Barcelo who have used this method of obtaining external photographers. ~~
