I feel your pain because I was in retail for 9 years and I ended up leaving because of the schedule. You always work while everyone else is off. Hi Kate! I have not officially decided on a location, but Playa Fiesta is at the top of my list. IMO, it is the perfect location. Every pic I have seen has been gorgeous! (BTW, I added some pics to the gallery of some pics I found from someone who stayed there!) Have you done a site visit with them or did you pick it site unseen? I would love to hear what you have to say about your plans and ideas!

Hi! Your story sounds a little like mine! I was finally proposed to after dating for 5 years. It ended up being well worth the wait ( after the fact! ) I got engaged near the end of December and I have everyone asking me when the date is! Geez-the pressure! I am also a school teacher along with the rest of my family, so the summer months will have to do with the scheduling factor! Have you found any interesting resorts, yet? Keep us updated!

Have you checked into Playa Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta? It is a wedding boutique hotel. It has 21 units for a total of 30 bedrooms. You can rent out 18 rooms to get their wedding packages or you can rent out all 30 and have the whole place to yourself! I am still looking for places that are more secluded also. This is the place that I am in love with, but I am in the beginning stages of planning! Let me know if you need anymore info! Hi! I am a newbie! I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and just got engaged two weeks ago! My fiance and I would love a destination wedding. It is relaxed and it would be great to make our wedding a family celebration and vacation. We are looking into the Playa Fiesta resort because it seems like a perfect set up for what we want. We will have a small wedding with close family and friends! I would love to hear some suggestions about Playa Fiesta or other places similiar to this concept.
