We also decided to have the legal cermony at home and are doing the vow newal there. Its much easier. But we also had a hard time deciding on a location. We started in cancun and now have booked Cabo. Good Luck. You will know it when you find the best place for you.

Ok Ladies, I need as much help as I can get. We have changed from Dreams Cancun to Rui Santa Fe Cabo. So any help you can give would be greatly appriciated. The only time that is available is at 2:00. I'm alittle concered about it being to hot and what to do in between wedding and reception. Any ideas? But October weekends are pretty much booked. This is my fault for being wishey washey on the location. I always wanted to get married in Cabo but thought that Cancun would be more afordable for our guest. But to find out its the same. Also, any information on extras I need or pics would be great. Thanks Kelly

In the US for the marriage to be legal you have to do alot more and pay more. Like get blood test, have documents translated into Spanish ect..and have two ceremonies there: one in Spanish with a judge and one with a minister. It takes alot of complications out of it when u get legally married in the states.

We are going to get married before we leave for Dreams. We are not telling anyone expect our parents to keep the DW special. And we also will use the destination date as our wedding date.

I'm really sorry to hear that happened to you. I personally work for a builder in Sales. And I have already notice a change in the market. It is picking up at least here in Mo. The best advice i can give is to have everything lined up and redy to go. Check with the realtor to see if the house has a firm contract or contigent. You can bump a contigent contract if all your ducks are in a row. Normally they give the first buyer 24 to 48 hours to firm up and if they cannot they loose their spot. Also you may look in new construction. If you don't want to build they usually have plenty of market homes available and are will to negociate. Hope this helps.

I also had this problem and was about to make myself crazy over it. We chose Dreams over MP. One reason being my FI wanted there and Two it in Cancun. Are groups is pretty young and I know will want to party while they are there and I didn't want them to have to pay outragous cab fairs for a night out. I also believe from STL it is alittle cheaper for our guest to get there. I would just have a TA price both out for you and see where you come out.

We are planning on Oct 18th, 2008. But that is not confirmed with Daniella yet. I sent it in on my survey so I hope we get that date.

It is terrible. I just went to Cabo in Oct for fun and they wanted to charge $75 on US Airways for being over weight. We did some shuffling at the airport between luggage and made it work. We were only over 2lbs.
