I don't say something to my friend and then they stare at me for 5 seconds with no response. LMFAO LMFAO I'm totally picturing this and it's so funny!! LMFAO I know exactly what you mean.. I'm like,"Is this how I talk to my friends?" Then I realize..duh no. Maybe if our convos were taped, the abridged part would look like that possibly.
  5. My best friend and BM Lauren (who did my makeup for BD shoot) booked my photog Brandi Grooms Photography ~ Liberating Portraits ~ Boudoir Photography, Photography for Women, Portraits, & Wedding Photography right on the spot when she saw her taking my pics hehehe With her permission, she's letting me post her teasers! She decided to take the pics for her boyfriend of 5 years. He's crazy about Portuguese soccer so that was her theme. We took the pics at my house since it's closer for Brandi to travel. She's sooo beautiful.. he's gonna FLIP when he sees these! *edited* I took them down after a week.
  6. It's beautiful! My FI drives an Infiniti 35 and he LOVES his "baby" lmao

  8. I'm obsessed with The Shield & Rescue Me. I just got last season on Netflix so me and FI are plowing through in order to catch up to this final season. Can I just tell you.. I miss Lem so much! I hate that everytime they recap in the beginning, its always "the scene". I actually belong to Kenny Johnson's (Lem) messageboard and he comes and talks to us all the time. He's SOOO sweet. He's actually keeping up with my wedding plans haha

Of course I kept saying I will loose 5 lbs and they also said that would help out a lot....lol. I will have to look at the veils again and see the diff. colors. I went on a Saturday and it was as crowded as a Chucky Cheese's on a Saturday. I had to get out of there! If you don't mind me asking, how much was the veil? I didn't even think to look. I forgot to add, I will post a pic so you can see, but I can where a flower with it too...which I'm excited about! The veil was $200. I know my dress has come in but I haven't had the chance to get there before they close.

Ok, so this is freaky, but when I went in yesterday to pick up my dress I decided to try on veils and not having read this post until today I decided on the mantilla veil too! I was trying to find pics on here so I typed in mantilla and here you are choosing a mantilla too. I had to order a smaller size, so I had to exchange it so now I'm waiting again for my dress to come back in. Apparently, the larger size I ordered would cost too much in alterations to try to get the part over the stomach to lay flat. And since the smaller size fit me better there the seamstress said it would be better to get the smaller size and let out some of the sides...or loose 5 lbs...LOL. She also smoothed by back out so that I didn't have back cleavage ! Now that's hilarious! I will have to teach my daughter to smooth out my back in the dress since she's the only one in my party. So, here's the question...what color dress and veil did you order? Because when I looked at the ivory veil it didn't match my dress. I got my dress and veil in ivory. You went with the ivory as well? Here's a pic of me with the veil: What size did you get your dress? I didn't know about the petite until way after I ordered my dress but now I'm wondering if I'll have the same problem. I'm 5'4".
  12. ahh yea I still have to get his wedding band and clothes.. lol he'll be easy where he doesn't have to wait 4 months like we do for our dress
