  2. i am getting married in 2 weeks there. and I booked alberfura restaurant with a dj and firedancers, etc i was told it can hold 100 people but we only have 25- so I was afraid it was going to look empty, but the wc said it will work. I will let you know after I get back. I would definitly book a restaurant if you can, but they charge to make it private, and any reservation over 10 people is a fixed menu. So, what I have done is book 3 reservations under 3 names- to avoid that the night before the wedding. Stay tuned- ill let you know when I get back
  3. i have a mac too. i had the same problem... I had you use my fiance' laptop. It will work on a pc- after you down load there plugin
  4. severine has a march wedding available to view. I had to install something to allow me to view the view slideshow. Great photos!!!
  5. NO problem- I will repay the site. Because I got a lot of great ideas and thoughts from members. I should have the posted a few days after we get home... So far I think they are going to be great

  8. I used them and they were GREAT!! I know theres been some complaints about the paperwork. I copied and UPS everything to Isabel and had my papers back in two weeks. She was great and the experience has been nothing but perfect. I am having a judge so the time of my ceremony was dependent of him, but that worked out too. No worries!!!
  9. I booked her for 3 hours but shes really flexible. We have 23 guests so I thought it may be a bit much any longer. Shes coming at 3:30 to start pictures and the wedding is at 5pm. Due to lighting we decided to do pics before and after but get most of them done before . Our reception is at 7pm- she said she would stay or add 1/2 whatever we want. I would definitely like to see more stuff. She has some pics up

  11. My ceremony is 5pm anf the spa made all the reservations starting at 1pm- the photographer is coming at 330 to start pics with the groomsman and than the bridesmaid. Due to lighting issues after 6pm
  12. i have @25 people. i was thinking 330 start bridal party pics and the weddng is at 5 and then an 1 hour or so after. is that enough
  13. WE are doing both. We booked at the paradisus the snorkeling sunset excursions from scuba carribean - it was cheap and drinks included for 500.00 for 20 people (2hurs) Then we booked atv for another day- again got a great deal - Our bags are good but not great- I think..We have sunblock, pool raft, starfish soap, starfish wine topper, maps of the island & rersort, spanish for dummies, cards, chapstick, and some other stff

  15. My friend got married last year at moon palace- she said most people gave a money gift. they didn't give anything because she messed up everything- so, they gave nothing. So, far my w.planner is excellent- so im thinking a small gift is nice. the dom. republic sales tax is crazy- so i don't think ill be giving 15% or higher- if we do cash

  21. Our royal service Ocean view was the same situation. We had to have 10 rooms booked and all our guests got transfer for free. and we got upgraded to ocean view royal- but if ocean front is available will be moved
  22. We booked Royal service Ocean front rooms- and all my guests but 2 booked royal service garden rooms. But I only have @25 poeple coming down. The 2 that booked regular deluxe rooms have kids and they can not be in royal service
