  1. They Open at Nine (which in my time zone is in an hour and a half.... and I will be calling at nine). So here is my argument that I am going to make with the owner to get my $500 back.... let me know if it will work -I would like full refund of the $500 -I dont feel comfortable going to a salon where the customer is never right -I can understand that mistakes do happen, but the customer service I have received has been horrible and not admitting that a mistake was even made. -If the process that you do is stripping: I should have been told ahead of time that my hair was going to get stripped and also given other options letting me know the damage that stripping does to hair. Never once was I given another option to just highlight may hair. -Even if I was told my hair was being stripped and agreed to it (Which I would not have) why did it turn orange? According to you it is because of the shampoo I use. When infact it is not, I purchased the shampoo from your salon because it DID NOT have Phosfates in it. The real reason my hair turned orange is becuase not only did you strip the box color out of my hair but also my own natural hair color. -I was not offered a time to come back any earlier than thrusday, but when I called and spoke with the owner yesterday they told me I could get in immediately. -I dont want to go back and get my hair corrected at a salon that does not think that anything is wrong in the first place.

  4. Yeah it wasnt the shampoo that made it turn orange, they are just using every excuse other than its there fault. Because when the owner was speaking the my FMIL, jaci (My FMIL) said will if this is the process that you use (stripping hair) then why did it turn orange and dont you think its important to tell people your hair is going to turn orange. She said "it isnt the stripping that made the hair turn orange, its the phosfates in the shampoo she is using that made it turn orange). Well Jaci didnt know I bought THEIR shampoo so it wasnt the shampoo that thurned it orange, it was them!
  5. I brought in about 10 pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like and it looks NOTHING Like it. We were just going for the base color, like chocolate like you said (think of jessica biels brown hair) and it is very light orange tint. I cant wait to call the owner today and get a full refund and hear what she has to say.
  6. I already sent you mine, let me know if you didnt get it!

My dad one time threatened to stay on a cruise ship for an extra week when they wouldn't take off a charge he didn't make. His money was promptly returned. Bottom line, just make sure as many people know where your hair was done, and make sure the salon knows of your recommendations! HAHA I agree just walk in and and say wow do wanna look hot like me Orange is the new brown according to them!!! I would go with another stylist if your able to, it sounds like their dying process is not the fit for you. Dont worry though you have more than enough time to get it fixed. Keep us updated I know isnt this the craziest thing? I dont get it. Even if they say they are right and on and on at least apologize that I am not happy with there service and not completely make me feel like an idiot... If they would have said oh were so sorry your not happy come back in and we can try and get it to what you would like I wouldnt be so upset. But the service is horrible!

  13. I know its so so ridiculous. I wouldnt be as upset if they at least said one little sorry in there. In no way do they think it is their fault. I tried calling the owner but she is gone for the day. So I will call tomorrow and am going to ask for ALL my money back including the gift certificate we purchased for $500 and everything!
  14. 15 pounds.... OMG thats amazing! Wonder if you get a prize for gaining ;o)
  15. OMG SOOOO CUTE!!! I Love it. I cant wait to chop all mine off!
  16. Ok here is what happened... and the update ok to make a short story long..... I have dark brown hair (use over the counter stuff because of my greys) but dark brown is my natural hair color. So decide for the wedding I wanna go medium brown with some blonde, honey highlights.... Think its not going to be a big deal right? WRONG! So Saturday I go and tell her what I want. She says well right now we will jsut do the medim brown color so your hair doesnt get too damaged in one day, so thought that would be okay. Well she puts this stuff on by hair to "get rid of the color" so basically my hair is likgh BRIGHT orange and blonde. She said she had to do this because she doesnt want to put color on top of color. So then two hours later she puts the medium brown color I want on. Well the salon didnt have the best lighting and after being there for 3 hours I was in a hurry and had to be somewhere.... Soooo The brown never really hung on to the hair and now its blotches of red, orange and brown..... OMG I called her the next day and said I had to get in right away and the soonest my schedule works with their isnt till thurday. So in the mean time I am walking around like a cheetah/homeless person with their hair on fire!!! UPDATE You girls are so awesome, thank you so much for all your support and advice!!!!! I read every little word that you all said on here and got enough courage and called the owner.... since then I am so pissed. Not only have I spoken to her not my FMIL has been on the phone with her on and off the past hour.... So I just started a new post because I need advice from stylist pronto on what to do because I have to call Monica (the owner) back... SO heres what happen (In case you guys care lol) I called her and told her first off that I was not trying to be rude because I thought that andrea (the girl that did my hair) was such a great girl but that I am really unhappy with my hair I first told her that I have heard from multiple people that Stripping your hair is not good what so ever on your hair and that I was upset because I was never told what she was doing to my hair in the first place (she told me it was getting dyed brown) She came back and said that is the ONLY way to dye hair and that Andrea knew what she was doing and on and on like I was an idiot that I weas upset my hair is the color of the sunset. Then I said ok say this is the process you do and you strip peoples hair..... Dont you tell them that is going to turn orange? I mean kinda important if you ask me. And my FMIL told her the same thing and she told her my hair is orange because "I" am using thewrong shampoo and conditioner. WELL Little does she know Andrea SOLD it to me.... IT the product they sell!!!!! So then I asked her very politely that I was afraid that andrea will keep doing the same thing over and over and its not like I can just keep trying and seeing what happens.. My hair is already completely damaged from them. So she told me that she will just have andrea call me tomorrow, and thats what it was left at. SOOOOOOOO I got home and fuming mad and spoke with my fmil and she has been off and on the phone with the owner saying... this is what is supposed to happen and if I want to come over there right now I can and there "color" specialist will put good conditioner in my hair and tell me what is happening and why". Seriously now there is a conflict of interest and I dont want to step foot in there again. The problem here is my FMIL got me a $500 GC to get all the stuff so now they have all the money and right now we are fighting with them to get it back.. AGHHHHHHH SO mad. Am I being a complete bidezilla or do I have a right to be mad here? sorry am I alowed to do two posts OOPS!

  18. OK I dont know if you read my other post by I am having huge issues with my hair right now.... MY FMIL and I are going back and forth on the phone with the owner... she is saying there is no problem with what is going on, even though my hair is yellow/orange/red/brown when there obviously is. So bottom line..... If I have dark brown hair box colored (my original hair color is dark brown BTW I use it to cover greys) Is it completely necessary to STRIP my hair to get it medium brown The owner who we keep going back and forth with say its the ONLY to dye hair and that you cant put color on top of color so our questions to her 1. why was I never told my hair would be stripped 2. If this is the "process" you use why do you not tell people it makes your hair turn orange. So basically the owner is of course telling me not to go anywhere else because it will ruin my hair more because they dont know what they did to it and go and in and see there color guy and he can explain why they do what they do.... The problem is 1. I dont like how were being treated customer service wise. Not once have they said SORRY YOUR HAIR IS ORANGE! Sorry im mad! So I have to call Monica the owner back in a little and tell her what I want to do. SO IS IT NORMAL TO DO THIS? Here is my long story of how it got orange http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t18949
