As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be." Sample Sand Ceremony - 2 "BRIDE and GROOM, today you join your separate lives together. The two separate bottles of sand symbolize your separate lives, separate families and separate sets of friends. They represent all that you are and all that you'll ever be as an individual. They also represent your lives before today. As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be." Sample Sand Ceremony - 3 "Today, BRIDE and GROOM, have chosen to commemorate their marriage through the celebration of the Sand Ceremony. This ceremony symbolizes the inseparable union of BRIDE and GROOM into a new and eternal marital relationship. Bride and Groom will simultaneously pour separate containers of sand into a common vessel. Each grain of sand in their separate containers represents a unique and separate moment, decision, feeling or event that helped shaped Bride and Groom into the separate and unique individuals that they are today. As they pour their separate containers of sand into a common vessel, those separate and independent individuals will cease to exist. Instead they will merge into a loving and supportive marital community. BRIDE and GROOM, just as the grains of sand can never be separated into their individual containers again, so will your marriage be." Sample Sand Ceremony - 4 "OFFICIANT: Please note this empty glass. Glass, itself, is made from sand and the sands of time have come together, melting into one piece to make this vessel. The sands of time should remind us all of our eternal love and our mortality. Today BRIDE and GROOM have chosen to represent their love to each other in a special sand ceremony. Please BRIDE and GROOM, take your separate glass of sand and alternate the pouring of sand into this joining vessel and united, repeat after me: You are my love for eternity. I blend with you. My heart is like these grains of sands, merging with yours. I am yours. You are mine. We are together forever like the sand, like the wind. We are one." thanks for posting those and for the website, I had no idea that the sand colors meant different things!

  17. I did this one for my MOH and Bridesmaids with a card and a rose. (or you can do chocolates) The day, the dress The bride, the groom The joy, the tears Will all come so soon Professing true love To my husband-to-be With family and friends All watching me I hope the sun will Be shining down, Keep your fingers crossed That I'll fit in my gown… But there's just one more thing that there needs to be… and that's to have you Standing with me! Will you be my bridesmaid?
  18. give them a hankerchief (personalized) On the day that I marry this wonderful man, please carry this hanky in your hand. This token of friendship from my heart to you, is to thank you for being there when I say "I do". It's meant so much to have you near, so many things have changed this year. The one thing on which I could always depend, was an open ear from you my friend. If there are tears on my wedding day, this hanky will gently wipe them away. Thank you for all the support that you lend, but mostly I thank you for being my friend. Thank you for Everything. 09-02 For My Maid of Honor For My Maid of Honor To ready for a wedding there's just so much to do, from choosing bridesmaid's dresses, to finding something blue. I see so very clearly, how this wedding's only one, of the many times you've helped me, when things needed to be done. Simply to say thank you, just doesn't seem to share, the feelings here inside me, when I see how much you care. You are so very special and my heart is grateful for the friendship that we share and will be forevermore. Thank you for adding joy to my life. My Maid of Honor Our friendship just gets better, through every passing year. But it really has been this one, that I hold truly dear. In helping with my wedding, and knowing you will be, sharing in this day, by standing up for me. You've taken something special, and added from your heart, all the things that made us friends, right from the very start. And though our lives are changing, our friendship will stay true. This my heart will count on, as my life begins anew. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of my life.
  19. here are some cute ideas I will always fondly remember the special times we shared. You've laughed with me you've cried with me and always shown you care. So on that joyful day in "November" when I will be a bride, I would be honored as well as priveleged to have you by my side. Will you be my bridesmaid? Through the in's and out's And thick and thin No matter what's happened There've you been you smile when i need it and listen when i grieve, you hug me when i cry- and blow boogers on your sleeve I treasure you friend More than diamonds or gold, and i promise i wil when we are saggy and old So please stand by my side when i say "I DO" for I wouldn't be me without a friend like you It’s hard for me to believe that in just a little while, Rob and I will be walking down the aisle. And nothing would give me more joy & pride, than to have you right there by my side. Will you be my Bridesmaid? 4. The day, the dress the bride, the groom the joy, the tears will all come so soon. Professing true love to my husband-to-be with family and friends all watching me. I hope the sun will be shining down keep your fingers crossed that I'll fit my gown but there's one more thing that there needs to be and thats to have you standing with me.
  20. welcome! we are glad to have you here.
