We legally married just hours before we left on our trip. We married in a church with just our children and Everton's brother who wasn't able to make the trip. We told no one else and it did not take away from our wedding in the DR. I thought of doing it after our DR wedding, but I really wanted to be legally married on our wedding vacation. Both of my weddings were beautiful. My siggy is actually at the legal ceremony here at home.

I feel your fear, Everton up and quit his job with less then 2 months to go before our wedding. With a wedding to pay for, our 5 children booked for our 2 week wedding vacation, and a meet and greet bar-b-q planned that month, I was more than a little worried. It all worked out in the end though, Everton was happier, he didn't worry at all, and we still managed to have a beautiful wedding and everything worked out in the end. Where there is a will, there is always a way:) Good luck and keep your spirits high!

My ring's sparkled the most while on vacation. I think the chlorine in the pool kept it really clean and sparkley.

I absolutely adore summertime. The kids are off school, which I love, and we spend all of our time swimming, bar-b-qing, and hanging out with our friends. I love gardening and you can't beat our evening strolls. I love that the kids can play outside til late because it is so light out, and I always feel so much healthier, lot's of exercise and great food. Ohhh how I am dreaming of summer days after such a freakin long winter, it is storming out once again as I am writing this:) What's your favourite thing to do on a stormy day?

Don't worry about it, we were told the same thing and we were never once asked by anyone to see this. Other brides fron the DR have also said the exact same thing as me, so relax you will have no problems.

Tara I say the third one is it. Since we know your not a dance around in a gown kinda girl, and you became a dance around kinda girl (even if it was just for a minute) then I say you found "the one"! Yeah

My dress was ivory and I carried white roses, I think it looked beautiful.
