  3. Hi Mandie! I'm getting married in Jamaica the week before you! You can create a ticker at several different sites (I did mine through tickerfactory.com) ~ just use the BB Code and copy & paste it into your signature (found under 'User CP' at the top; then 'Edit Signature' on the left')
  4. Oops, I forgot to vote! But congrats to the winners!!!

When I left there (due to husband's death) I took a job as a receptionist/HR Admin Asst to "get my foot in the door" at a different place. Well, they are going under and I was laid off after just 6 months. I am now on the hunt. I am having difficulty figuring out a good match. I do NOT want to go back to child care. The part I liked best there was the acct mgmt. However, with my Assoc degree in a childcare field and my resume showing only "childcare" and receptionist type stuff.... I am at a loss. I have tried to make it apparant that I have more than "taking care of kids" as my abilities. I understand that I am not going to get some job making 100K, but how do I find a good match that pays me enough to make ends meet?? I am looking for around 35K (what I was making at the child care company).... Any great help?? I also work in the education industry - for a child care company. Have you thought about working as a part of the Administrative staff for a child care company?? I do the company's marketing, but other departments we have are Enrollment, Curriculum, HR, Finance, Accounting and Development. Maybe you could check for positions at child care corporate offices?? Your child care background would be an additional selling point for you!
  6. Shelley...just double your guest list. We don't even need OOT bags or anything!!
  7. I did Mad Lib RSVP's. I love them! We've gotten some back and they're hilarious!! People have told me they're the most creative RSVP's they've ever seen. Good times!

I haven’t found any I love yet. NO IDEA!!! I like the idea of paper around the small cocktail umbrellas. Nice, cheap & easy! 144 for $5.50 Cocktail Umbrellas - 144 piece box - MU001 of 12 for $1.30 Cocktail Umbrellas - 12 count - MU020
  9. For those of us having our dinners at Mammee Bay... since it's all one LONG table, do you plan on using placecards or just having a free-for-all seating? I think it would be easier for guests to just look for their name and sit, but I don't know how that would logistically work out! Think Chandlyn would do that for us?

So make sure it's something you want first before entering it into your account. If you don't like it, maybe someone will swap you. ah, darn I didn't see your 2nd post until AFTER I entered my code! I got Fall 12 free 5x7 photo cards...don't know if I'll use those!
  11. WOW! This is great! Thanks so much for posting Morgan! dumb question - after entering the code, where can we go on shutterfly to find out what we got?
  12. Mine went out uber early!!! I'd rather get an early estimate ASAP than wait for a more accurate count!

That is a fabulous idea!!! I work as Director of Marketing for a non-profit educational organization. I am ABSOLUTELY looking for a new job!! Since this is a small company, I don't expect to be getting 'director' level jobs, but I am in a Management position now and would like to keep that! I'm also working for a yoga studio as their webmaster. It's fun stuff! I'm also very willing to relocate!

  15. Wow, I WISH I could answer this one. I've never been to Hawaii, heck I've never even been to the West Coast!!!
  16. Well, as long as you can get some private rentals.... that's a great problem to have (as far as DW problems go anyway! )

  20. Apparently the dresses we're looking at are popular. That might be why it's a longer estimate too... These are the 4 I think we're getting (in case anyone was wondering!). I just picked the color & they are picking whichever style they want: David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail
