  2. I am also getting married at the Riu Ocho Rios!
  3. I might be in, not sure though; hopefully some people start RSVPing soon!!!!!
  4. 1. I don't really have jewelry yet. I bought a rhinestone necklace that kinda drops down if you know what I mean. I don't love it but that style looks good with the dress so I aml ooking for jewelry at Macy's today. Other than there where else should I go look? It may be too late for me to order online. Oh yeah and I still need a purse (God this list keeps getting longer!) I'd just go to the mall & check everywhere with jewlery! or ask friends/family if they have anything...could be your something borrowed? 2. I bought my BM's LL Bean tote bags and then took them to my Mom's friend to have their names embroidered. Well she did a crappy job and the thread does not match the color of the straps. At this point, should I just give them to the girls with their gifts inside or should I try to find something else? I am having a BM's brunch on Saturday the 21st to give them their gifts. Just give them what you have, I'm sure they'll still love them!! 3. I ordered white silk satin flip flops with beading from advantage bridal. It turns out they are much whiter than my dress. My dress isn't ivory but I guess it's not pure white either. Once the ceremony is over I am changing into white flip flops that say Just Married on the bottom. So my question is should I try to order new flip flops maybe in silver to match the beading in my dress or just use what I have because you can hardly see them anyway? I think you're fine with the flip flops you have. 4. For ROR girls, are you tipping Chandlyn, if so how much? Who else are you tipping? TBD day of!! 5. Also for ROR girls, do you know if Mammee Bay has a dress code? My rehearsal dinner will be there and I was wondering if I have to tell the guys to wear pants or if shorts are okay? haha, this is funny. I'm quoting YOUR info booklet on this one (and Mammee Bay is listed under a la carte restaurants in it): A la Carte Restaurants have dress codes which require men to wear pants and collared shirts (some ala carte restaurants may be slightly more relaxed than others but it’s better to come prepared by packing slacks and collared shirts). Women can wear capris, sundresses, etc.
  5. I also have a rehearsal dinner question. This is for anyone who is having the reception dinner at Mammee Bay. Where are you having the rehearsal dinner?? I'd like to have it at a different restaurant. Just wanted to check in with all of you before I email Chandlyn about it!
  6. I sent the invite, RSVP post card and an insert saying "for wedding information, see our website at www...."
  7. Looks like you had fun; wish I could've been there!

THANKS! ...oh and Christine, I know I haven't posted anywhere (it's just a little hard right now), but I really am very happy for you with your pregnancy. I pray you have NO complications and can just enjoy these next months.
  9. My Dr just faxed this letter to me to give to my boss: "Heidi is a patient at our practice. She had a surgical procedure done on 10/5/07/ We advised her to rest @ home until 10/12/07. Please feel free to contact the office should you have any questions or need additional information." Hopefully that gives me my paid time off!!!
  10. I am also getting married at the Riu Ocho Rios. Let us know if we can help. As far as the ticker, go to one of the websites and copy & paste the BB code into your signature. (You can edit your signature by clicking on 'User CP' at the top left of this screen and then 'edit signature') Hope that helps!!
  11. I worked at AC Moore for 8 years of my life (from 16 to 24), so I'm a little brand loyal to them! Anyway, it's an arts & craft store and they just launched their new website where you can buy things online. They have some good deals; basically the same things you'd find at a Michael's, Rag Shop, etc. A.C. Moore Happy shopping!
  12. I'm wearing hot pink flip flops from Guess. I like that it's a completely unexpected color for bridal shoes!

I agree with you 100%!
  14. I'm very happy to hear that I"m not overreacting; Reggie said I might be. I didn't do what I was supposed to, I know that. But come on, I haven't been in the right frame of mind lately! Anyway, thanks for your support everyone.
  15. We'd be looking at the Houston, TX area of Ft Lauderdale, FL. We have family in both places, and we want to go somewhere with family! My family (aunts, uncles & cousins) are in TX; his sister is in FL. The housing market in TX is winning us over!

He wants to go to FL, I'm leaning towards TX because of job opportunities out there.

I think you should post their company name so we all know who to avoid and quit immediately. We all know you are intelligent and talented and you will find another job. If you can't quit immediately, PLEASE, please, please, begin the job hunt now! we want to move out of the area after the wedding, try something new. Maybe I'll just go ahead and make the move and Reggie can come join me when he's done with school in January.
