They don't even charge a design fee or anything like a lot of other places do. At least not yet. They did tell me that they are growing really fast and that they might start charging for this service. Anyway, I highly recommend them. Great girls, great product, great prices.
  2. Ooo I would be upset too. Sorry to hear of your trouble. Did they have you sign off on some kind of proof or anything? If not, they should definitely fix them for free and rush them to you. Good luck.
  3. My invitation vendor formally known as Paper Dolls Ink have changed their name to "Prim and Pixie" These girls have been wonderful to work with so I thought I would share. They also seem to specialize in beachy/destination type invites. I will try to post pics of my save the date. Hope this helps someone. Prim and Pixie
  4. It is my FI's dream to play golf at Pebble Beach. They sell gift certificates and room packages. He also wants to do a glider ride so I might arrange for that as well and just plan a really romantic weekend filled with all of HIS favorite things to do.
  5. I didn't even think about this. I feel sick already....
  6. Welcome and good luck. Hope we can help in the planning! Actually, your date is before mine so maybe you can help me
  7. I love the idea of preserving my dress and trying to squeeze back into it in 20 years, hee hee. My mom cut her dress up and gave it to family. I was planning to use some of the lace from her dress to wrap my bouquet with.

Umm, I don't really agree. I guess it depends on your friends. My girls would wear it proudly. I have worn one as well. It is tradition. You go out with your girls and just have fun. Who cares what anyone else is thinking. In the end you are left with a fun keepsake.
  9. Ok, so I have been really good all week. I broke down today and not only did I not exercise but, I ate a wonderful meal and drank too much wine I feel guilty. My FI and I had a tough week and needed to unwind but I want to be consistent! Help! How do you avoid the Fri/Sat night temptations?
  10. I have a friend who makes them. She is making them for my wedding, she is AMAZING! If you are interested send me a message and I will give you her info.
  11. I like the wording of #5 the best. I think it is sweet and I feel like "Because you have shared in our lives..." is more typical and expected. Shrugs. They are all really nice though. You did a great job.
  12. I LOVE #1. They are all pretty but the first one is beautiful. I love the diamonds on the side.
  13. My bestfriend gave all of us Tiffany's and we all LOVED them! That was 5 years ago and I still wear it all the time. The little blue box lets you know just how special you are. I vote for number 3 for sure!
  14. Seems reasonable to me. I am close to that on my invitations alone! I guess it depends on how many you are buying of each item. If you really love them then I say go for it. It is your wedding day
  15. I think this is where I want to have my wedding. I am in touch with the coordinator and she is great. Anyone else out there that is having their event here? Looking for feedback. Thanks.
  16. http://www.myspace.com/paperdollsink These girls are doing my save the dates and invites. They offered to do all my paper needs, including shower, etc...they have been great. I highly recommend them. Good luck.
  17. Oh, I love traditions. I have been to smaller weddings where we did it anyway and it was too funny. I guess the question is do you like the tradition? If so, do it! If it is not important, don't bother. Just pick and choose what is important to you and build your event that way.

I don't do laundry or housecleaning for a few days either, so what is my excuse? hee hee.
