I went through the same thing with a special that the resort was running through a certain time period. My TA actually put together a "welcome information letter" from her with all of her contact information in it and with the resort special pricing along with the deadline. Along with her letter, Bryan and I sat down and came up with our own welcome letter and mailed both at the same time. It seemed to have worked really well......We had 30 something people book with the special that they were running! We expect some stragglers as it gets closer to October, but we had people booking for the trip that we didn't even expect! If you want, you can pm me your email, and i can send you copies of both of our letters. I would highly reccomend doing this if there is any special pricing deadlines involved!

Ok, so I thought that I found my dress months ago at Sak's outlet. It really is beautiful, but I am wanting to do all kinds of changes and alterations to it to make it what I "really" want. So, I decided to take the day and just go and try some on. I might find something that i will fall in love with that I didn't even imagine that I would like. (different body styles, colors, etc...) I just hit around the 6 month mark until our big day, and I want to really surprise him!

Since I have already sent out STD's, including a "welcome" with all of our TA information and such, is it ok to include a passport reminder on a business card size printed piece of paper? And then send a welcome letter with a luggage tage closer to the date?

I went ahead and bought them considering they were on sale for $1.99, and i can return them if I get them and they end up not working with my theme! Oh Ann, I"m so sorry! I can't imagine a whole in my ceiling! They would probably have to put me in a mental institution! You are handling it a lot better than I would!!!!!

Is it just me, or do any of you have issues with your FI sisters? My FI as 4 sisters and the youngest (His little sister 2 is the biggest baby with him. You know, neither one of us has ever been jealous of the other...But for some reason I am of her! His own sister! I guess I feel threatened by her and thats why I feel this way. She has two kids, a cheating husband, and neither one of her parents to help keep her in line. She also has burned several bridges with my FI and their friends in the past year that we are best friends with. (they used to be best friends and room mates with the people that I happen to be best friends with now) She just has no respect for anyone, and it's always about her! VERY SELFISH!!!! She has never been taught not to run all over somebody. Since she is obviously the baby in the family, everyone just "let's" her get away with acting this way. Not to mention that her kids are as bad as she is! The thing that bothers me the most is that my FI just continues to treat her like his "little sister"! Come on, she is 28 years old and has her own family!! Suck it up sister! She has made all of these choices for her self, and I don't feel bad for her a bit! She calls him all hours of the day, emails him and wants to know if he is mad at her because he never "hangs" out with her and her family anymore. He pretty much tells her that she is the one that made the decision to move over an hour away from him and their "friends" and that she shouldn't be jealous of anything that goes on that she isn't involved with anymore. Not to mention that my FI has grown up, and has his OWN family now!!!!! Ok, I feel better at the moment! Sorry! Thanks to all of you to take the time to read this!

It's not just you! We all are having the same problems with communication issues with Claudia! I have a TA, and she is able to get a response out of her with in a 48 hours. Ok, I have heard so many different things about site visits......If you are doing a site visit, are you going to just make your life easier, and worry free for planning?! I have also heard of some of the resorts including some of the costs for a site visit before your wedding date...... We are going to do a site visit, but just very confused with the Dreams resorts right now! Finding that they are offering different things to diffferent people and want to get the most out of this if it is available!!!!! Thanks girls! -Leigh

Well, I have to say that I think that you are worrying a lot about all of your guests! I know that you want everyone to be there, but you can't make EVERYONE happy! We made this mistake in the beginning and ended up choosing a resort that "WE" fell in love with. If people can make it, then great. If not, no hard feelings. I still have to remind myself that this is "our" day! Good Luck!
