  1. Gorgeous! I love all the colors, every pic is so vibrant and full of life.
  2. I definitly hate my thighs. Like TammyB no matter how much I work out that is just the spot that wont lose the fat! I'm running 3 miles 3-4 times a week and doing a lot of ballet type excercises and still they are flabby. Yup my skin is also a problem too. I do use proactive which has helped so much. But when you are 28 years old and still get backnee it is embarrising!
  3. I hate those situations. You are a good friend for not letting this stop you from going. I'm sure everything will be fine. Good luck.

Yikes- it will work out though... Thats actually another reason I e-mailed Mariana about it. When I read that Dreams provided them and set them up for the $180.00 I figured if they were going to charge me the same amount than I would just leave my lanterns behind. But since the price dropped for bringing my own I'm going to lug them with me. We are bringing so much stuff there, that is my only worry that things will break or not make it or weigh to much. Oh well, at this point at least I know that if the lanterns get squased or my huricanes break Dreams allready has them in stock.
  5. That stinks Christine. Kick some butt and get if fixed. The last thing you need is to be sharring a bathroom with 2 extra people yikes!
  6. Welcome to the forum and congratulations. Finding the place is the biggest hurdle, once you are over that its easy planning from there!
  7. I had a feeling that that is what was happening. That is why when I e-mailed Mariana I specifically said that I had spoken to a girl that said Dreams provided the lanterns for her in addition to hanging them for $180.00 I said to her in a nice way that maybe it should be less money since I am providing my own lanterns. I mean lets face it, they are using our other BDW brides left over lanterns to hang for people and charging us 180.00 bucks the same exact amount but yet we are bringing our own which will take up some space and weight in our suitcase and we purchased on our own. Word of advice print out all of your agrements via e-mail so that when you get the final bill you have something of substance to fight with.
  8. Just a heads up. I am doing the hanging lanterns for our reception. So I read on here somewhere that Dreams charged $180.00 for lanterns that they provided and hung. I bought my own at asianideas.com for super cheap, and am lugging them down there myself. I e-mailed mariana to ask how much it would cost to hang them if I provided my own and she said $60.00 usd. I saved over 50.00 bucks doing it this way. But then again I do have to transport them there myself. Just an FYI for those of you who are thinking about doing the lanterns.
  9. That sounds so romantic a honeymoon in Bali, have a great time! We are using Mazarte floral for our flowers but I did have Mariana/Dreams price my flowers out too and the prices arent that different.
  10. you look great I love the dress, and I will have to remember the bent arm trick thanks.
  11. I had so much fun referring brides (back when I had more computer time) when I first joined here. I felt like I was really helping other brides find a place that was for DW's and had such good info. Great idea Tammy!
  12. The poor thing, It was so sad to see her lying there on the track. I wish she had come in first, it would have been so nice to see her at least take first place before she passed away.
  13. thanks Becky. I cant wait for the bach-party, its such a great kick off to the wedding. A little Mexican pool fiesta! I'll post pics for sure
  14. sounds like you definitly have a bit of ADD syndrome lol. No more projects until your finished with all your 1/2 done projects!!! lol.
  15. Update No I dont have any pics I forgot my camera, whoops . How did it go? Horrible. I hated every second of it. I know I sound so selfish because we received so many nice things but I honestly would have rather gone without the whole thing. My Aunt who threw it invited so many relatives most of them I didnt even know. I kept opening up presents and having know clue who to look at to thank because I had no freaking idea who 2nd cousin Linda was? WTF I specifically asked that it only be the women who were able to attend the wedding I wanted it small! I get really uncomfortable whent the focus is on me and it makes me really nervous. My advice, for all of you that dont want a bridal shower, dont back down and dont have one, its not worth it. I'm so close to my wedding day that I think I'm just cranky with everyone and there mother thinking they know whats best for me and my wedding. I might be taking a little bit of that anger out on the bridal shower thing. So now I'm having this pool party casual bachelerotte party that I am planning. And some people are pissed that I'm doing it that way. They think I should go out bar hopping etc. Know matter how many times I tell them this is what I want they look at me like I have ten heads and insist that I should be out clubbing instead. I swear its like noone hears me when I speak. I want a pool party cook out margarita party. Why do they want to make me do something for my bachelorette party that I dont even want to do. What is wrong with people.

  17. I have read a lot of reviews that said May was pretty windy. I went there in September and was praying for a breeze to come through to cool us down. I think it depands on when you go but I wouldnt thing July would be that windy. How about still having candles but just with a huricane around them.
  18. Cara you looked beautiful and everyone looked like they had such a good time. Congrats!
  19. thanks girls, and I do have that one covered a couple of us are meeting up at my sister-in-laws house for pre-shower mamosas. Hopefully I'll have some pics to post later on. Thanks for all the kind words. Off I go...
