  1. We did the minimal package because financially that was cheapest for us, and we hired mostly outside vendors. I would just sit down and try to figure out costs of doing it each way and then make the decision from there.
  2. The minister they had was John Fagen if any one is using him and wants to know what he looks like. Great video thanks for sharring.

  4. We had one long table and I loved it so much better then little round tables, there were 30 of us. I dont have any pics yet, but I cant tell you what an overwhelmingly good feeling I got sitting at the end looking down the table and seeing our closest family and friends with us for our wedding. AWWW you will love it! And you can so decorate it beautifully still.
  5. thanks, I hate any ocean creature and man were those crabs everywhere, they ran away though as soon as you got near them but I was still freaked out.
  6. No, no teaser yet. It is going to be one long summer waiting for the pics to be done let me tell you lol.
  7. Wow Courtney if I have a question I want you to be the one to answer it! I have nothing to add except I got my hair done at the Dreams Spa for our TTD shoot and thought they were horible. I would hire an outside vendor for hair and makeup if I were you.
  8. wow, how exciting! I cant wait to see what happens I hope you get picked.
  9. wow, good to know. At this point with fuel prices the way they are I guess its a good idea to either book your air seperatly and pay at once, or pay your trip in full when you book. I cant stand these fuel costs, its making traveling so expensive.
  10. Oh I cant wait to see all of it actually set up! I'm so excited for you
  11. That last pic was really good. What a pretty wedding.
  12. I'm not sure about the Riu but Dreams took your dress at check in and steamed it, and then brought it to you the day of the wedding. I would check on the RIU website where it says whats included in your wedding, it should probably say it somewhere in the list.

I'm dying to see Juan's pics... Thanks Sarah, I'm so so glad we got married at Dreams Cabo even if it was a long flight, completly worth it!
  14. Juan is so good, the horses are an absolute MUST, the beach pics are a great idea but some good pics in San Jose are also a great idea. Either way he will get great shots!
  15. I had 24 in my bouquet and my brides maids had 12 each in theres. I forget the exact price but I know mine was under 200.00 and my brides maids was 80.00 each. I want to say mine was 160.00 or 180.00. I'm not sure.

I spoke to him a week ago about our TTD and he mentioned your dress being heavy and difficult, he was kinda warning me too!...lol funny~* Heavy and difficult doesnt even start to explain it lol, no but seriously if we wernt so careful I could have easily been taken away by the tide it was soooo heavy there are no words to describe it!
  17. You could always hire a Mariachi band for the Ceremony/Cocktail hour and then do either a DJ or I-pod for the reception. That way you arent walking down to recorded music.
  18. I'm pretty sure S2BLennon is right. They have specific vendors that come with the packages. I'm sure the resort WC could help you with some names and contact info of different vendors if you choose not to use the package vendors, but mostly in my case anyways I found my vendors through reviews on this forum.
  19. Ann, what a tough position. I think the Winniebago (lol) thing might be the way to go. Seriously though it might be. You would be comfortable and on the ground incase of emergency. There must be a company that will do one way trips. Have you looked into any others except for that one?
  20. Have the wedding you want to have. I had various people try and make us feel guilty every now and then and it is really hard but its so worth it at the end.

I love how honest he is and how invested he becomes with his clients. As a bride, and especially when planning the wedding over email and without the luxury of meeting the vendors in advance we both find communication with the vendors extremely important. I am super super excited to see how your pics turn out!! I think they'll definitely be worth the wait! Ana your going to have such a great wedding I cant wait. I really need all you girls to get married ASAP so I can relieve it all over again. Great review! Your exactly right, I dont think sometimes people dont take into consideration the work that goes into the photos after the shoot. In my opinion, all photographers are great but down the road you can really tell who belongs in the Circle of Excellence. Juan Carlos does a great job and best of all... He is a people's person, very important to his line of business. I just officiated a wedding this past Saturday, June 7th, 2008 at the Hilton and Juan Carlos was there... All I can remember is seeing Juan Carlos running from place to place... I even asked him how many pounds does he loses per event Ladies and gentlemen, with Juan Carlos you get what you pay for and then some. Have a great day He is the best, and no I dont imagine he has any reason to go to the gym the way he runs around while working lol.
