Hi ladies.. So I feel so dumb even asking this but I honestly don't know.. LOL..

My fiance and I are getting ready to send out our STD's.. Envelopes have been stuffed.. Addresses collected..

Now we are at a total loss for how to actually write out the addresses? Do we hand write them ourselves? Print something from some kind of label maker?

I feel like such a noob=/ LOL..

HELP! What did you do??

Not a stupid question at all! Invitations I plan to hand write, but for my save the dates - I actually just got clear labels and used a dark brown, calligraphy font - because they were clear (and my envelopes were off white) you really couldn't tell they were labels!

Hand written is probably better, but I found the calligraphy on clear labels were a great/cost efficient way as well!

J-ME-- I saw your idea and thought it sounded great!! Where did you find clear labels? I went to CVS, RITEAID but couldn't find any... Perhaps I'll have to make a trip to Staples..

Bmaxam-- My fiance won't let me write on our envelopes.. My handwriting is tiny by nature and he says we will blind our guests=/ If we do hand write then he had volunteered to do it.. He has a nice, bubbly cursive.. LOL... I wish I could do calligraphy though.. It looks so beautiful.. I will do a test run of printing straight onto envelopes..

Thanks for the ideas ladies:)

I picked up clear labels at staples (in Ontario) for $4.96 for 300!!!!! It was a great deal.  We sent out 100 invites so there was noooooo way I was handwriting all those.  I plan to handwrite our welcome letters possibly or something else to give a personal touch!  Walmart also has clear labels but this staple sale blew them out of the water on price!

We used a nice "handwritten" looking font that matched our invites and it worked out great!

Also, on a side note I have read some other brides saying they numbered their RSVP cards to track who responded since some people forget to write their names.  We just printed an extra label of each address and stuck it on the rsvp cards.  That way if they forget to write their names, no biggie because we have it already!!!

Good luck!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
