Does your FI/DH know how much you weigh?

DH knows how much I weigh. More importantly he knows what I look like naked, so what does the number on the scale matter? He also knows I eat clean clean clean and workout and play sports all the time. Yeah, Ive got some cellulite and some flabby parts, but who cares. He married me for my good parts and bad parts...

Once in a blue he'll mention that maybe he lost or gained some lbs (he goes to gym and weighs himself, I do not) but that's it.

Ditto to this, my FI has never asked, as he will love me at whatever size.

My husband never asked me, however he's gotten on the scale in front of me and then just expected that I would get on it after him, ...hmmm..., NO I don't think so!

I'm very uncomfortable with my weight, I always have been. I've been trying to lose but it's like a never ending battle. But when I do finally get to a point where I'm more comfortable, I feel like then I'll be able to tell him.

He's been skinny his whole life and never had to worry about what he ate, so even though he's gained a lot of weight the past year, it doesn't really bother him to get on the scale and share his weight, because he knows he can drop the weight he's gained in a matter of weeks (SO UNFAIR!)

I have never really been too concerned with how much I weigh...in fact for a while I never really knew because I didn't have a scale in my house and never weighed myself except at the doctor's office. Now that I live with FI he has a scale so I will weigh myself every once in a while....FI is more concerned with his weight than I am with mine....I have told him how much I weigh. He loves me and my body so why should I hide my weight...it really is just a number

FI knows exactly how much I weigh because we are both trying to lose wedding weight. He has lost 40 lbs and I have lost 30 since we started dating (we both gained love weight, haha-we both were the heaviest we have ever been when we first started dating). Now, we are almost at our goal weights yayyyy! So we weigh in front of each other every other day! He doesn't think my weight is important. He loved me at my largest and now he loves me just the same wink.gif

My FI doesn't know and has never asked, he knows that I wear a Large or X-Large and that about it, lol. He loves me for who I am, I do have to admit that when we met I was a bit smaller, I would say I wore a 7 and now I'm a 10 or 12, but he doesn't love me any less now that I am bit bigger. We are both wanting to loose weight/tone up before our wedding, but we have plenty of time, out wedding isn't until June 1st 2010!

I used to be uncomfortable with my FI knowing my weight...he was always very open with his and kind of expected me to also be open with mine but I just couldn't tell him! I felt so ashamed beacuse when we met I was a size 6! We've been together for 5.5 years I gained 45 lbs and was a size 12!

When we both decided to commit to a healthier lifestyle and try to lose the weight, he said the only way we will be able to do it is if we tracked our results so we could make our goals more tangible. Since I was getting desperate at this point to lose the weight, I agreed and finally told him my #. He didn't make fun of me or say I was disgusting...even though I knew he wouldn't, as he is so supportive:) but my weight has always been a touchy subject for me...

Anyway, coming to terms with not being embarassed by my weight is what helped me lose 30lbs since November and am now a size 8! Over this time, we tracked our weight every two weeks and even do our measurements. He has been so supportive and won't let me beat myself up. Being honest with each other and getting our embarassments out of the way helped us to focus on our goal. I know for sure I'll be able to get back to a size 6, with his support :)

My FI knows how much I weigh but only because I complain about it all the time and when I lose weight I'm always so excited that I tell him. My personal goal is to lose another 10 pounds but he doesn't want me to lose anything because he likes me curvy and with meat on my bones but when we met I was about 20 pounds lighter so I want to get back to that and he supports it...as long as I don't lose my butt LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
