Okay, I just came back from the gym and ran 2.5 miles...whew I'm beat and outta shape.

I finally did something my sister has been bugging me to do, take a motivational picture of how I look so it will motivate me to go on days I'm lazy. I took my picture and it did not look cute but I almost feel rejuvenated to fit exercise into my routine. Here's to long and challenging road ahead of me...

OMG you girls seem pretty hard-core... but it's motivating :) cheer2.gif

I have had a gym membership for at least a year and have not been using it. So finally about a month ago I started using the treadmills and trying to get back into shape. A little late for Mexico, but better late than never, right?

I'm working through a series of podcasts to learn to run. On Saturday I started Week 3 and I was so sore that I didn't go for 2 days. Today, everything conspired against me hitting the gym, but when I got home I went outside with FI to do the second day of Week 3! It's my first time running outside, so it was pretty tough, but it was good. I'm proud! cheer2.gif

Congrats! on running outside. It is nothing like running on the treadmill. You can run days on end on the treadmill and get out to pound the ground and feel culture shock. I hate running but I know that it is the one thing for me that will work the pounds off, not to mention I have to do it for work sad.gif

Good luck, it'll only gets easy from heresmile36.gif

kevsgirl that is great running is awesome I like running outside so much better but now with the time change I do not get home until dark so I now opt for the treadmil.

Today I did 2 miles on the treadmill, some leg exercises and 45 min pilates, I plan to go back tonight and run 2 more miles and bi and back.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
