We're back! I feel like I have missed so much here.

Mo- I'm praying for you that you start feeling better. I'm curious though, have you tired phernegran (promethazine)? It was the only thing that took away the nausea for me, the zofran helped to keep food down but like you did nothing for the nausea.

Lizz- YAY!!! That is great news! Congrats!

Well, as for me. The wedding was AMAZING! Everything came out so wonderful and it really was beyond my expectations.

I'm waiting on my pictures from the photog that came to the wedding with us, I only have the pics from the resort which I'm not too impressed with, but here is a little teaser pic for you guys!

When is your due date? How have you been feeling? We will have to have a BDW get together soon, but with non-alcoholic drinks this time, lol.
That's too funny that someone slipped. Yeah, I didn't want to make an announcement til I saw the doctor first so that's why I waited to tell everyone.

My due date is February 25. I've been feeling really good, no sickness, just a little tired. But I've been a complete moody bitch due mostly to quitting smoking cold turkey and caffeine (I used to drink a ton of diet coke). But I'm slowly getting over it.

I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well. I really hope the medications work. Let me know if you need anything!

Mo, I hope you start to feel better soon! No more visits to the ER, okay?!

Lizz, congratulations!!!!

Karma, You looked so beautiful!!! I can't wait to see your pro pics!!

What else did I miss? I have been M.I.A. since Friday when Jay got home. We have been visiting family in our hometown.

We had an OB appt. today. I have gained 14 pounds! eek. OB says that's good though. I asked about being cautious in Mexico and he said not to drink the water, just lotsa beer! ha! As if! I wonder if I should take my chances with bottled water down there?

I think 14 pounds is good. Girl - I'm right behind you at 11lbs at my last appt.
I think the bottled water in Mexico is fine. That would probably be the only thing I drank. If you get a drink they will make it with ice. But they do say that large resorts uses filtered water to make their ice though. Just use your best judgement. You have to have a virgin something!!!
I'm so glad Jay is home and you guys were able to spend a nice weekend together.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
