How Much Are You Spending On The Welcome Bag Itself?

Hello All,

 

I had a question about welcome bags.  I have noticed they are referred to as OOT bags on this forum.

 

How much are you planning to spend on the oot bag itself? 

 

it seems if you want to add a monogram or logo, it is hard to find much under 8.0

 

My second question Is: is anyone using gift bags or cable boxes? Meaning a paper or disposable bag .

 

any references for where you can get a monogrammed tote for a reasonable price?   I think wedding chicks is 10 for a customized tote.

Watch for weddingchicks discount codes... Last one was over July 4th weekend and made the bags $2 a piece when you bought them by the dozen (with custom graphic)

 

There are definitely deals out there! Another option is to add a monogram or graphic yourself using transfers purchased at Michaels with a 40% coupon.

I am spending $10 on each bag with about $40 of stuff in them.  Each couple or single guest gets a bag.  I think I will end up ordering mine from wedding chicks too for $10 a pop.    I found less expensive ones but they looked kind of cheap and not sturdy.  Ideally I wanted something people (and myself) would use after the wedding....

I am doing paper bags with our intials and filling them with information and a rum bottle (I figured some ppl won't appreciate the bag itself)

I am trying to use the majority of my budget on the items to go into the OOT bag itself. I am still shopping around but I have plenty of sites saved in my favourites and check them often to see if there are any sales.  My FI and I will be adding the design ourselves to the OOT bags after they are purchased.

I am hoping to buy as much on sale or with coupons as I can too.  Luckily I have time to put those together and not my main priority.  I really want them, but also have to make sure I can get everything there!  Don't want to ship anything to Mexico

I ordered mine on weddingchicks when they had a sale on them about a week ago. I used the promo code that they gave and it brought the purchase down a nice bit. I think it ended up to be about $7 a bag which is better than $10. Anything helps hey ladies? Keep your eyes open on those promo codes they offer.

Nice!  I just signed up for the email blasts yesterday, definitely waiting for a sale. I am all about deals, sales and coupons. I agree anything helps!!
