My turn to freak out!!!

Jenn

I'm a procrastinator. Anyone who knows me knows I work best under pressure... but I'm seriously sucking up this wedding thing!!! I have less than a month, no cake topper, no cool thing to take pics of our rings in, no shoes, and no jewelry! And FI doesn't have a tie - which sounds like it shouldn't be a big deal, but he's 6'7" and needs an extra long tie. I've been working on this for 6 months, and the only DIY I actually finished was my invites! I am almost done with my fans, have materials for OOT bags, but nothing is done and I'm totally freaking!

For the ring, I always thought the pics of a white pencil starfish stuck in the sand with the rings is pretty. i wanted to do that but forgot to buy one! you can get them at any craft store. They also sell them at Walmart. You can buy really pretty large shells at both places as well.

Thanks for all the offers for help :) I'm still freaking, though a tad bit less. I finally (almost) got my flowers sorted out, I did the iron transfers for my OOT bags, and I ordered 3 pairs of shoes - and will likely return 2. Tie is still up in the air, and Sam had his tux fitting today and was NOT happy. I didn't get to see yet, but I'll add it to the list of reasons to freak. I've given up on the cake topper, and plan to go to the mall after x-mas and buy jewelry - whether it is department store or swarovski, or whatever. I had gone a few weeks ago and found some things at swarovski that would work, so it'll be ok - just more expensive. I'm pulling it together, and have 6 days off after x-mas, so it will get sorted out. I would take the Philly ladies (and everyone else) up on help, though I really don't know what I need help with! Can you make people work during the holiday and get me the things I want by mid Januaryhuh.gif J/K

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
