I asked about the date b/c of high vs low season and wondering if I can get as good of a deal as you...We are thinking about April 2009, I think prices drop after March, but I think they drop even more after August....I would just LOVE to get a deal like you did, im sure Jennifer will do her best!!

Thanks

I thought the Green Iguana looked like a nice place to stay, too. Another option, depending on how many guests you'll be having and how close you are to them, is to rent a villa.

We'd like to be able to rent a villa, but if we can't find something reasonable, then I thought of the Green Iguana or the Mafolie Hotel and Restaurant.

Hello St Thomas Brides,

What made you choose St Thomas for your DW? I am a luxury villa rental home owner and have had the awesome opportunity to share my private home in Estate Peterborg, with some very awesome couples. I just returned home from St. Thomas (was hard to come back) and read many of our guest log comments. I am interested in learning more about your decisions making process in selected ST Thomas for your location. Check us out for some eye candy. All the best on your journey towards your special day!

coquetayloca,

I believe a villa may be more cost effective for you! Good Luck in your search!

Corinne, I believe I have done a wedding at your villa many years ago, but it had a differant name then. If I am correct, you are located off the first rd. once you are on the Peterborg rd, am I correct?

I work for Weddings the Island Way.

Nice STD!! Love the colors.

We just came back from Megan's Bay and we went into the gift shop to buy 100 postcards. We are going to use them for the STDs. Ends up there isn't much room on the back for the info though! I think once I have them done I am going to send them to the wedding coordinator in St Thomas and have them postmarked from there so it is a momento for our guests. Especially since we just came from there!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
