@@TinkerSofi 30 day countdown!!! So so exciting!! I love the engraving idea - I was thinking of doing something similar for Sean as well. We both decided to not do gifts and to just exchange notes before the wedding but I think the engraving would be such a nice added touch.

I hope you have an amazing time at your bridal shower this weekend!! It will be great event to get everyone pumped for the big day and trip to Mexico!!!

Thanks guys! We touched on the gifts subject a while back and we sort of agreed not to do any gifts but I liked the idea of engraving it. Even maybe getting him a chain for the ring because I suspect he won't be wearing it often haha, on his finger that is!

I freak out a little thinking that in 30 days it's finally my turn! I've seen so many of you ladies getting married and it always seems like my wedding was so far away. It's all a little bit unreal

We're ready to send our welcome brochures to get printed, but I think we should put a hashtag on it and we're having trouble deciding on something. Mainly we can't think of anything that isn't taken ahaha. What do you guys think of azulkisses? I don't know, I'm not convinced about it so I might just scrap the whole idea and have no hashtag. Just tell people to tag us on facebook/instagram or send us the pictures. After all there's only 30 of us.

We also thought the song by Shakira (Colombian), Lucky, that she wrote to her then Argentinean boyfriend. It says "lucky that you were born so far away so we can make fun of distance" (or something along those lines haha), but if we make our hashtag makefunofdistance I don't think anyone else would get it.

What do you guys think?

Update on the BM jewelry

So remember how I told you guys that these gifts have been stuck at Canada Post since June 1. I tried following up with customs and Canada Post and apparently all mail that came in June 1-3 is pretty much a write off. It's gone missing, they have no idea where it all is and people are getting quite impatient. My reaction is "Are you freaking kidding me?!". The lady over at customs said that Canada Post is the one that hands the mail over to them but they haven't handed anything for those three days and they're getting calls like crazy. There's basically nothing I can do until Canada Post gets their crap together. She said that in some occasions the status won't be updated but people receive it anyway so she said all I can do is keep checking my mailbox and pray that that's my case. How frustrating is this? I thought I had ordered this with plenty of time but maybe not. I guess I'll wait until the last few weeks and if it doesn't come in I'll try to get them something locally. Which still makes me angry because what a waste of money.

As for my necklace for the wedding, it was supposed to be here already but Canada Post made a mistake and sent it to the wrong place, so now they had to re-route it, according to the tracking now it should be on its way. I am not impressed with Canada Post right now at all! It's not even Christmas time!!

I'm so sorry to hear about this situation!  I hope you get it soon!  As for the hashtag I think it's a cute idea especially if you and your guests love social media.

@@diadiamond It seems both packages are on their way! one apparently was "attempted to be delivered" haha, which wasn't because my bell didn't ring and I was at home, but at least it's here! The other one also arrived at my city and should be delivered soon. Everything worked out in the end, yay!

@@calgarybride2015 yes! They finally came in. I just haven't had a chance to post pictures, but I'm very happy with my purchases!

@@Wafflesmom I know!! I'm getting really excited. My MOH stopped by last night and she's told me that she's getting super excited too :). I don't want to expect too much though because then things never live up to their expectations. It's just hard not to get pumped :P

@@fawzia I was finally able to see the video. WOW! How did you memorize 8 minutes worth of dancing!? That's crazy, and good for you :). It's always a lot harder than people think when they see the dance already put together.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
