I got badge holders and loops. From amazon and the dollar store respectively.

After all said and done about $30. Then I have to make inserts. If I can settle on a single design I may use vistaprint.

I'm leaning to use travel quotes and the like so people can use them over and over and they aren't plastered with our wedding info.

But a tropical scene is also so pretty!

I just realized I have a few guests who booked alone too so this will be nice for them too.

Maybe at the very least you could make a list of what you want mentioned and she can include it?

We have a lot of extra stuff. Wedding timeline. Extras we planned. Our wed pics info etc.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter who the luggage tag comes from but I love the idea from us as it's another to say thank you and make them feel appreciated for spending their time and money. I have guests spending more than $6000

I used a TA once and only got my ticket hand delivered

I'm trying not to get to wrapped up in the bags, I know personally I would prefer to receive a nice tropical candle from bath and body work when they do a 2/22 special.

Tropical colored tissue paper twine wrapped around. Make your own day of itinerary, maybe if your planning anything for the group. Take a hole punch thread the twine through it and let it be. I was thinking bags initially but when will people use them again? And they have their own sandals. They may want a tumbler I've seen ppl use them in me at resorts instead of cups. Hell ppl might not even want candles, maybe instead a good body scrub. I think less stress is best and like I mentioned before ppl don't want disposable cheap bic razors or sunblock, more stuff to scatter all over the sink counter top. Cute in theory . Makes sense. But truthfully it's more fun for the bride to put those together than it is to receive a bag of that stuff.

Now I on the other hand. Qtips.

Haha how many times have you forgotten q tips at home?

Alright I'm done :)

I was at Dollarama and they had 24 individually packed wet wipes for $1.

Thought that was a good price and a useful item if people had planned to put those in their bags!

I actually use QTips everyday as a part of my morning routine so they come everywhere with me!

Yup... Travel/Passport document wallets and luggage tags... I think we have gotten at least one of these gifts each time we travel to an all inclusive via a travel agent. It's why I wasn't sure I would do luggage tags (I'm still not sure!) if I send my pre-travel mailers to my TA to send with the other items, I don't think I will because they will seem obviously redundant- but if I do it myself- I still may include some that are personalized for our group. Since many of the bags coming off the carousel could have the same luggage tag if supplied by the tour operator (usually the case), and something that stands out for just our group would still be fun!

I dont even know if we get that here in the US, i dont think so because we did not get airfare

I would just ask your TA what, if anything she sends to guests booked for the wedding prior to travel from her, so you can plan your pretravel guest mailers and not be redundant. But I agree- I think it's something funded/provided for by the tour operators here in Canada, and since they aren't part of the equation in US- you may not.

Ya the lady posted her luggage tags. Tropical on front. Funny comments on back. Pink bow haha

I think for the men too they may use it more without a colorful bow all the time :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
