@@nattiegams325 email I received from David today about the price increase:

"On the signed contract it is stated that the prices were subject to change for 2015."

On the bright side its only a $300 increase and not more but it is still sucky :/

That's sketchy. Seriously they sent me prices 2 weeks prior and then they increased. I never signed the contract because I emailed asking about it and they never replied!

Does anyone know the difference between the pool deck and the pool terrace? This whole time I thought they were the same thing.......we are booked for the pool terrace but which one is better? We are expecting about 60 guests.

@smileitseb: David had just emailed me about this, the deck is wooden and the terrace is cement.

Does anyone know if the Jacuzzi the only location they offer for cocktail hour?

Hello everyone! June 3,2015. So far I have not been been able to contact anyone. My travel agent says they don't start planning until 3 months prior to the date. But I wish I could start. Right now I'm just working on the Welcome Bags as well. @nattigams325 your dress looks amazing! Good idea on starting this thread!

Also sorry I've been MIA lately ladies!!! We did our engagement pics and sent out save the dates and finalized everything with the travel agent AND i said yes to the dress (!!!) so I took a break from wedding things for a few weeks haha :)  Next step is invitations, picking out wedding party attire, and really pulling together my "vision" for the wedding. FI (Bill) and I are headed down (with his mom!) again in September. I'm going to take another bride's advice and ask to do a tasting for the platinum menu as well as stalk other weddings.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
