First time I hear of them pamelas21! Have you received quotes from them?

On a very exciting note, I have confirmed our wedding date! January 10th, 2015!! Very excited, but also having major anxiety. I haven't even sent out invitations and it's 8 months away. How long before hand did you girls send out invites? Did you send save the dates too?

First time for me too! I emailed them this morning - hope I hear back soon! And hope they're in my price range!

Congrats on the date! That's so exciting! Just breath because I set the date at the Royalton in February so 10 months for me!

In all honestly, I had planned to do STDs but with everything happening in my life, there was just no time! I booked the group rate through Sunwing in February and gave our guests 1 month to put deposits down! So I emailed them through our wedding website on weddingwire! It's just been so nuts now that it's way too late!

I'll make it up with the full invite though in September <3 I plan on including a formal invite and info on the week: welcome cocktail, rehearsal dinner, wedding, etc.

Congrats again! :)

Here's a very nice link of Zuluspro Photography that a bride on here was kind enough o share with me!

Hi ladies!!!

I'm a busy bee let me tell you all! LOL

Ok I have an update from Laura!

See questions and her answers below in red:

·  If I wanted to bring in a makeup artist and hair stylist for during the day to do my hair and makeup would I have to pay the vendor fee or can I pay a day pass? How much is the day pass? As long as they are doing this in your room, we can charge a day pass per person. $70 USD per person.

·  Do you charge a fee to set up décor we bring from home? Generally not – this is something that we love to do for our clients! However, it would depend on what exactly you are bringing, as if it involves different departments, we might need a fee. It would never be more than $250 USD.

And!!! She also sent me a 90 page PDF of flower, décor, etc options!

I took the liberty of emailing it to most of you but I’m sure I missed some of you! Sorry!

Shoot me a message with your email address and I’ll forward it!

I’ll also post it here – damn I need to reach 150 posts soon! Feels like it’s taking forever!

And I got quotes from Zuluspro Photography! He’s available on my day! YAY! I need to decide THIS weekend on a photographer!

He's honestly affordable compared to other photographers:

$2,000

Unlimited (full coverage)

B/W, Sepia, Blemish Removal

Online Gallery

DVD

$3,700

Unlimited (full coverage)

Two photographer

B/W, Sepia, Blemish Removal

Online Gallery

DVD

DVD slide show with music

5 - 8x10 printed photos

He's got a 3rd package but it's over $9,000 LOL

And I think I'm booking Loni Jones for makeup! <3

Bahahahaha $9,000. I'd have to win lotto max and they'd have follow us around for the entire stay. And do my engagement photos and ..... Lol. I'm being ridiculous, but $9,000 is crazy

150 posts. Does that include replies?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
