im not really sure how straight it makes your hair.  my hair is curly, wavy & frizzy.  But If I want to wear my hair curly I have to wear tons of product! If I want to wear it straight its a long process and the slightest moisture in the air ruins my hard work. I know its supposed to help you with frizz and make your hair more manageable.  if it makes my hair straight...I wont be sad!  My issue is when im in mexico I don't want to spend half my day taming my mane.  Plus, I get really embarrassed by my hair because if I go in the pool or ocean and get my hair wet...when it starts to dry its out of control.  I usually have to wear a baseball cap and tie my hair in a bun.  I just want to be able to swim and layout without feeling self-conscious about how my hair is drying.  Hopefully the Keratin can help me out with that. Plus as long as its not too windy the day of the wedding I would like to wear my hair mostly down.  I don't want to worry about it frizzing out for pictures or dancing.  Im paying a lot of money for my photographer...I don't want to look at my hair and be disappointed in my pics.  You can prob tell its been an ongoing love hate relationship with my hair.

anyway, I lucked out and purchased a full keratin treatment on living social.  its regular $250!!! the coupon was offering it for $125 and I happened to sign on during a flash sale?  (never knew about that) anyway I ended up getting it for $112!  So excited and hope it helps!  Ive switched to keratin shampoos/conditioners and noticed a change...this should be sooo much better :)

How did you contact Beso Brides through their Facebook page and they gave you quotes?

Did they tell you if its one or two people that come the day of? I'm a HUGE fan of airbrush makeup specially for your wedding day and in the heat, it looks flawless.

I'm concerned with using the salon and having a language barrier. I assume this wouldn't happen with Beso Brides?

Hey! Just wanted to comment on this post. I had my makeup and hair done by beso brides and could not have been happier! they are on top super nice, fun people, with reasonable prices... I had my trial days before the wedding and in the end decided to go with a different hairstyle because realised that it might be too hot for that look.

I could not have been happier! they are super nice and professional...:)

I am back from my wedding and absolutely loved Beso Brides!!! They were both so awesome and loved hanging out with them.  Super nice, great prices, and fun to hang out with while getting ready.

Here are some pics! Oh...and no language barrier at all! they are Irish (awesome accents)

@@talicea7812 congrats on your wedding! I'm so glad you were happy with Beso. I've just sent them a message so hopefully they are available for my wedding. It's been really hard finding hair and makeup for a reasonable price!

I'm torn on getting an outside vendor for hair and makeup since my package at Now Sapphire already includes it. Also one of my bridesmaids went to beauty school for a little while so I'm sure she could fix any of their mistakes. I just really want airbrush..

These hotels need to get airbrush makeup already!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
