Share your timeline 2015 Brides!! I am trying to figure when I should start booking my venues and vendors. I am getting married on 8/8/15 and am wondering by when I should have all the details down for the Save the Dates. I know I want to send the save the dates in July, so how long prior should I book the venue, block rooms, get a travel agent, lock in vendors, etc? I am trying not to jump the gun, but still I do not want to fall behind either... Let me know what your time lines are looking like! :)

Awesome!!! I am a 2015 bride too. I'm still thinking of where to get married I'm leaning towards la romana Dominican republic. Still undecided. I suggest sending saving the dates super early. I went to a Punta can a wedding and they sent the invites about 4 months before the wedding and no save the date.everything was so expensive. I wish we had more time.

Omg!!! You booked a venue?? Wow I'm waiting for 2014!!!! Can't wait!!!
I know right. It seems the planning process is a little easier once you are finally confirmed for a date and venue. :D

I'm also getting married in 2015. Haven't booked anything yet but got lots of people interested in Varadero, Cuba!!! I'm so excited and can't wait for all the planning. I was told by my local travel agent that I cannot book resorts before a year so I have to wait until March 2014 to start booking anything. Still don't know where we want to go. So many places to choose from :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
