Drum roll please…

Ladies, this is what I found after scouring the aisles of Costco in Cabo. I hope I got everything you all needed, plus I threw in a few fun things as well! Without further ado, here are Costco options and pricing!

All prices are in pesos!

Liquor:

Bacardi 1.75L $159

Absolute 1L $175

Grey Goose 750ml $349

Cuervo Margarita Mix 1L $43.51

Malibu 75ml $139

Jack Daniels 1L $295

Tequila:

Cuervo Espec. 990ml $105

Corralejo 1L $175

Cazadores 1L $215

Don Julio Blanco 750ml $219

Don Julio Reposado 1L $359

Champagne & Wine (for Alisarosenbaum):

Moet $495

Moet Nectar $535

Veuve $535

Taittinger Rose $655

Kirklandâ€s (this is Costco brand) $285

Cookâ€s $98

Yellowtail Shiraz $99

They also had a great selection of wine, including Coppola, Blackstone, Ravenswood, etc.

Beer:

Corona (cans) Case $185

Corona (bottles) Case $175

Dos Equis $155

They didnâ€t have any Pacifico, which is my favorite Mexican beer! They better get some in stock by November!

Bottled Water/Cokes:

Kirkland 16oz bottles, 35 bottles $70

Kirkland baby bottles (maybe 8oz?), 70 bottles $12 (that doesnâ€t look right to me, might have jotted that one down wrong?)

Diet Coke 24 cans $130 (the rest of the Cokes were in the same price range)

Flowers (for Clussy75):

24 Roses $169

They had at the store 33 dozen roses, in red, pink, yellow, white, orange & peach

Mixed bouquets $129

Fun Food & OOT stuffers:

Jelly Belly jelly beans $109 (can be put into small clear plastic bags with a sticker of your logo and tied with raffia, which would be so cute!)

Chocolates filled with tequila, Malibu, Khalua, bag of approx. 50 pieces for $79

Mini Tostitos (packaged in individual servings) 24 pack for $115

Gigantic marshmallows (pink & white), maybe the size of two golf balls, perfect for Sâ€mores! Didnâ€t get the price

coreyphil, I did not find any mirrors or candles at Costco. I know, weird. I made FI walk up & down every aisle and neither of us saw any?

Ok ladies, I think thatâ€s it! Let me know if I have forgotten anything! Hope this helps!

<squeal> Yay! Thank you so much Jill! This is GREAT! Ok, now I know we can get plenty of great extras to fill the OOT bags with from Costco and they have the colors of roses that we need as well. Excellent!

Random question but did you by any chance see the little single serving mini bottles of liquor (really, tequila) anywhere in your ventures out to the stores? Also, did you hap upon any Los Cabos specific sports bottles or other fun Los Cabos specific kinda thing for OOT bags? I'm sure you had your head spinning with all the excitement but I figured I'd ask.

You rock Jill! smile159.gif

The only place I have seen the little bottles are at La Europea which is near Costco, maybe to the East. They had the mini bottles of tequila, but we didn't get there over our trip to price them out. They also sell alcohol, beer, gourmet snacks and they have a terrific selection of tequila and wine.

But, we're going there probably on the Monday or Tuesday of our wedding week, so I'll be able to price them out then and report back! I remember they also have mini bottles of premade margaritas, which we were going to include too!

It looks like there is a La Europea also in Cabo, near the marina? Here's their listing on Los Cabos Guide:
La Europea - Wines - Liquors - Deli - Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Mexico

We didn't do much shopping for Cabo stuff, and I'm kicking myself now b/c I'm trying to find the perfect mexican tunic and the only one I like is on ebay and up to $100 now, so no, long answer, we didn't do any of that. But I can tell you there is a store directly across from Pancho's restaurant that we also visit and they have some great stuff. Swim coverups for the girls, all sorts of glassware, frames, magnets, home decor, etc. I think it's next door to a cigar store.

So glad it's helpful! It was pretty easy to check it all out, and I would want someone to do the same for me, so I'm glad it all worked out. Although, I did just have a rush of angst that there won't be any mini bottles of tequila or margaritas left when I arrive! Ah! Don't buy them all! HA!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
