Wedding Dress Prices?

Recommended Posts

@@calgarybride2015 thanks! I like yours too! very pretty :).

@@acw271011 There's definitely lots of places in Canada where you can find dresses under $1000. I bought mine in Calgary for under $1000 (see the pic above) and I saw quite a few that were around $600-800. I decided to go for a bit more flare than the regular destination wedding chiffon dress but just shop around, you will definitely find something. You might not be able to get a designer dress but that wasn't a priority for me at least.

Thanks!!  The beading on it I loved, it goes around to the back and down the train!  The pictures do it no justice :) Hopefully the photographer can capture it's beauty!

@@MJTK  It was soooo much fun, and what I found I totally wanted was nothing that I wanted LOL  That was me though, I was DEAD set on straps, but I preferred the sleeveless, thankfully I tried on both.  I also found in the higher end stores (not necessarily more expensive) the ladies had more experience and they could recommend things you wouldn't have envisioned would look good but ended up looking awesome.

I want to save as much as possible on my dress. I love deals! and told my fiance my dress would probably cost less than his suit. He didn't believe so I want to prove him wrong.  :D Looking at a dress I love from babyonline. But I need to go try some dresses on before I make a decision.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
