dear self-

please eat a "normal" dinner- not just 3 tortillas and 5 oreos like last night- you are pregnant and your baby needs some nutrients! and for goodness sakes go outside and take a walk- it will make you feel much better and will make you feel like you have more energy- why do you keep putting it off and taking another nap?

Yes ladies, this is just a little glimps of what I deal with on a daily basis... I am not sure who I am more mad at - my FMIL's friends for even approaching her with this type of crap, or my FMIL for not standing up for me and telling her friends to shove it!

Oh and dear distance education course group members,

Why does meeting a weekly dead line seem like such a struggle for all of you?

It's the same day every week.

It's not a surprise.

You know it's coming.

And really, it's not that much work.

I'm sick of picking up your slack because you don't know how to manage your time.

Dear self,

Learn some patience, you used to have it, find it and get it back.

Also,

Stop worrying about getting married, yes it is getting closer and all will be fine. You will not change your mind and he will not change his mind, it will happen, and you will like it.

first I must say, this is a great thread!

I have a few

Dear Husband,

Please understand my desire to have a baby in no means takes away from my love for you and that when you are rude to me about wanting to take a pregnancy test it doesn't make me feel like you are going to be supportive of something we both had part in doing.

Dear Students,

When I say no late work, that doesn't mean you can turn in work late!

Dear Parents,

Your child is very special and deserves all the best in life, however they cannot all get A's and I have 100+ students who are "special" I cannot give them all "special" attention everyday.

Dear Doggies,

Please do not bark at every sound you hear, its incredibly annoying.

Dear self,

Get off the couch and work out.

Stop assigning so many assignments that you cannot keep up with the grading.

Stop making your husband feel stressed out because you are compulsive and OCD.

Stop taking on so much, at some point you will run out of time in the day.

this is like therapy, and its free...thanks Tammy for starting this.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
