My dental appointment is at 4pm and now I'm just a huge mess. I have a crown for my one front tooth and i've hated how it looks so I went to my dentist and asked about redoing it.....well after he xrayed it and everything he has determined that the women who did it 8yrs ago did it wrong. OH GOODIE! So tech the post isn't even in anything and they have no idea how it hasn't fallen off. Now, they have no idea if they can redo it until they actually take the damn thing off.....so IF they can redo it....which I so desprately hope, they will redo it today and also take my last two wisdom teeth out (I told him this is the only way he will get them out lol). Which is fine....about a week of pain and than I should have a perfect smile for my wedding. Now, if they take it off and can't redo the crown I need to have emergency surgery and have an implant done....which involves this retainer type thing to be worn for 4 MONTHS!!! uuuuuuggghhh no biting into anything for 4 whole months on top of some horrible retainer type thing holding a fake tooth.....please pray that they can redo my crown for me BangHead.gif

OMG Cindy that is awful, I'll pray for you. There is NOTHING in this world I HATE more than mouth pain and things being "fixed" in my  mouth. I despise the dentist and dental work. I swear I need anxiety meds just to go there.  I shake the whole time I'm in the chair! I assume since you're wisdom teeth will be pulled they'll knock you out so at least you won't be in pain during the procedure.  Good luck!

I want him to get something he likes which I have a feeling will be cheap and simple but that almost makes me feel bad because he spent so much on my engagement ring.  I guess your right though more money for my ring if he picks something cheap!

With him we have to be careful with the type of material too, I don't want him to get titanium because you can't cut it off. He's a firefighter so although he doesn't plan to wear it to work better safe than sorry.  Some guys do wear theirs on the job, I told him if he's stuck on titanium he needs to make sure to take it off. I'd prefer he keeps all of his finger haha.

My FI wants a cheap ring b/c he has to wear a plain ring for work, he's a corrections office. So we saw some tungsen rings on overstock for $50 that he liked. He doesn't like jewelry except the watch i got him and he wears his gold chain from his mother. I want a vera wang band to match my vera wang E-ring but they seem to not sit right with it b/c of the cut boooooo. There was two I liked and they weren't that expensive. One was $650 and the other was $750. He's been looking at the citizens stilleto watch for like months and it's $325......and he won't buy it for himself so I'm thinking of buying it and giving it to him on our wedding day as his "gift" before he sees me walk down the aisle to marry him pinkie.gif

My FI likes the tungsten bands too. I think they are nice - not too flashy since he doesn't wear any jewelry !

He hates jewelry so I think he'd prefer none haha. I have NO IDEA, I browsed once and saw a lot of pretty rings but I didn't like them with my ring.  They were nice alone but I want something that looks nice with my ring.

I browsed once too - actually went into the store just to check the size of my finger bc my FI guessed too big! Ended up looking at some rings and the girl only picked out rings that matched my e-ring so I'm sure wherever you go, they'll do the same. Have fun! I can't wait to go ring shopping together with my FI

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
