oops, forgot to answer your other question about the group excursion, I'd plan it for a specific day and just invite everyone and hope they can join in
Cool... I think that is what I am leaning towards doing as well.
Not sure if there's one in your area. But I hot my girls dress from charming charlies accessory store. Omg. They havd everything and greatprices.
OMG tooo Funny! I was going through my bag of new stuff from Charming Charlies this morning and I thought to myself... I should mention this store to the girls cause they so do have nice stuff for little money - and its not cheap looking! I Love that store!!
not sure when in 2014 depends on location if its west coast mexico then aug or sept but if east coast it would be more like april or may due to hurricane season...but wondering if its enough time  Are you good at making decisions? I think is so then you have more then enough time... and if you are not.. well this will force you to be... either way I say if it is what you want.. Go for it : ) We are here to help :D
Yes that's not to long. Actually to me although my name is only 4 letters and his is 6 they sound a lot alike. And I too always get pronounced incorrectly like your FI. Idk what it is with the 4 letter names.
What's up with that?!?! I thought people were good with 4 letter words : ) haha
Don't worry, I'm a tortured soul. I don't want to lose my last name. It's The only person I know how to be. Lol. If I hyphenate it will be Pool- Bryan . ;0/ not exactly melodious. Lol
Aww heheh... your cute!
I think I've been shopping a lot this week. Then I look at my email receipts, I've purchased anything and pms.gif   is going strong. So I have ordered peacock, ostrich and other bird feathers. I ordered my sandkit. I have started purchasing my tumblers. I am looking for chapsticks and playing cards. Maybe I should start buying my bridal jewelry? Any suggestions as to what to buy next?feedback.gif OOoOOOOooohhhhh Feathers! Funnnnn ;)
I was going make the facebook booklet simple with pictures, their name, where they are from and indicate if they are a friend or family member of the bride or groom
I guess I was more so asking how you are going to construct it :D
Hey Ladies, In another thread, there was a question about how everyone is organizing their info and I thought I would share what I posted there in this thread as well. I'm a big fan of Google docs in general but Google actually has a Wedding Planner doc  It's called All-in-One Wedding Planner. I've only played around with it just a bit (since I haven't booked anything yet) but there are pre-set tabs for budget estimator (with formulas pre-calculated), guest list, music, photographer, caterer, etc all the info you need already formatted.
For example, in the guest list tab, they have checklist columns for address/email/StD sent?/invitation sent?/dietary restrictions?/etc

Each tab also has some tidbits and advice from Style Me Pretty.

It;s nice that I don't have to start from scratch and can edit the sheets as I see fit.
Oh Thanks! I am rather fond of my trusty notebook - but I will check this out!!!
So toysrus is having a sale. I ordered two beach towels for my RB and FG as well as sippy cups!
Yay for good deals!! I just went to Michael's and picked up some stuff that was 40% off PLUS I had a 25% off coupon YIPPY! Of course deals like these just make me buy MORE stuff ... like my Welcome Bags need MORE stuff **sighs** hahaha
Does anyone know the site to start building my own wedding page? So ppl can see updates and possibly even RSVP . I'm leaning towards not having paper RSVP's and have them respond online. People are all so digital now. And every buck saved counts. :0). I know I hate having to buy stamps . Lol
I have one that I got for free on theknot -- I started to set it up but didn't do too much.... it seems really easy to maintain.
I wanted to do electronic save the dates, but mom told me it was tacky and/or that some guests might not be computer savvy.  She said I could do postcards to save money.  Well, we're going to likely send out just over 100 postcards, which can add up!  I am putting my foot down with RSVPs. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I haven't always send in my RSVP and prefer to just call or email. (Please don't judge me too harshly!)  My guests can either rsvp on the website, or give me a call if they don't feel comfortable using a computer.
WHAT?!?!?! You don't RSVP - Shame on you!! Just kidding - xoxo
So girls. I'm thinking of this as the flower girl "basket" http://www.etsy.com/listing/115587766/rustic-flower-girl-basket-personalized?ref=shop_home_active What do you think? I find the traditional baskets to be soooo tacky and it's a plus that this is easy to pack!! I'll have to get my 2 yr old niece/FG's opinion of course, but I think this is the one.
REALLLY Cute! I Love it!

Ladies.....need some imput....Do you think it is cheaper to DIY invites or just pay someone to make them??? The ones I really fell in love with is a passport invite that is $5.10 per passport with a min of 30 required to purchase and only sold in sets of 10. BUT the shipping is $34.63....so the total for 30 would be $187.63. The other ones that I liked are boarding pass ones that are $5.50 a piece and $10 for shipping....which would come to $175. I just feel like this is a lot of money for 30 invites and that I can either see what staples or kinko's would charge and than see if I printed them myself....only problem with me doing it is having to get the stuff to cut them. But what if I printed them and brought them somewhere to be cut?! Trying to save as much as possible :(

Welll cindy. I too was in same boat. I was torn but I decided to go with it having themprofessionally done.I actually only had 40 done.those will be given to people that I know more then likely will it attend.and a few for people who want to attend but I'm not able to due to age or health issues for everyone else I did the save the date I get those from Shutterfly very very inexpensive. I decided to have done professional do because so costly finding the right template. Then right cardstock of paper. Then printing. If doesn't look like what you want. Then redo. I kniw for some they love the thrill if it but for me.I just didn't want that added stress. I just did final approval on mine and I love them. Email me [email protected] and I Will show you what mine look like

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
