2013 Paradisus Palma Real

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Well in my contract it says I get a free Welcome Cocktail party for one hour, and then I wanted to plan a group dinner at one of the restaurants. I am having a hard time securing either of them, and I have sent multiple emails. Someone finally responded and said they could not make a dinner reservation for more than 10 people? Which is crazy..... And they did not answer my questions about the cocktail party either. I just wanted to get the locations of the welcome party settled, but they are not making it easy. This is why I ultimately chose to move my wedding off the resort. I have had a very frustrating experience so far when dealing with PPR.

Thanks for sharing your inspiration board! Love so many things. I too and going with more of a rustic theme. We are doing Burlap runners and burlap favor bags with coffee beans... We bought our own lanterns that are real beachy and plan to get battery pillars bc we heard tht candles don't stay lit on the beach. Boo! Things are starting to come together!

What are people choosing for the meals for the wedding reception? Not sure if I should go with the buffet or he designers plates. Has anyone tasted either menu? I'm nervous to choose without tasting!

I selected the Caribbean BBQ, however, I have not had an opportunity to try it. I am substituting a few items, but otherwise I felt that it would offer a unique experience as well as lobster tails :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
