My DIY Sand Ceremony Set

I coundn't find any sand ceremony sets I liked on Etsy or anywhere else...So I DIY'd it.

 

 

Reneck Wine Glass = (Candle stick + Mason Jar + loctite adhesive) + (seashells + hot glue)

1 Block Glass Jar from Walmart

 

To us the sand ceremonies resembles everything we have been and what we will become in the future. It also represents the blending of our family and friends.

 

We are going to do a few things differently...

 

1. Each guest will add a seashell to the jar once they sign the guestbook. - bringing friends together

2. Our Mom's will use Nautilus Shells to fill the jar with regular sand from Playa to symbolize - bringing families together. Like this...

3. We will use my redneck wine glasses with green and blue sand - bring us together.

great job! it's cute! I think I'm going to get my own jars to. Creatology at Michaels has sand way cheaper than the actual sand ceremony sand they sell. Thinking of picking that up
