It is weird that you were told the judge is unavailable for your date is it is in January 2013 as the judge doesn't open his agenda for 2013 until April 2012 lol.. Civil weddings can be scheduled but not confirmed until the judge opens his agenda..
On another note, my FI were actually going to use the jodge ( if he was available ) but after reading the wording for the ceremony ( it is very to the point with no emotion / also in spanish that is translated by your WC) we decided to get married at home and book Pastor Rick York. Once you have read his ceremony scripts you wont want anyone else to do your ceremony! You can find reviews on here about him and on FB and they are all beyond fabulous
