Aloe Vera--What did YOU do??

Hello Helpful Brides!

 

I am looking for Aloe Vera right now. It is one of the last things for my OOT bags. I cannot decide if I want to buy them prepackaged or if I want to buy empty bottles and add aloe and a label. I am a bargain hunter and want to do this as inexpensively as possible since I have 35 OOT bags to make. I am wondering if those of you who included little Aloe bottles in your OOT bags would chime in?

 

Did you buy them or bottle aloe yourself?

Where did you purchase aloe/supplies from?

How much did you spend?

What size are yours (I am thinking 2-4oz?)

How do you recommend doing it?

 

Really looking forward to everyone's feedback on this!!! I would like to get this project done this week.

I am including aloe vera in our OOT bags.

Where did you purchase aloe/supplies from? I got most of them from another bride on here for a discount, but had to buy some extra at walmart

 

How much did you spend? I beleive they were $0.99 each for the extra ones I had to buy

 

What size are yours (I am thinking 2-4oz?) I don;t know the exact size, but they are the same size as the travel hand sanitizer bottle things.

 

How do you recommend doing it? I like the prepackaged as it has a seal on the inside, so Im not worried about them leaking, which they may do if you do them yourselves.

I got my aloe bottles from Target in the travel section. Perfect size & I think they were .97 each. Bought around 20 of them but they always have tons.

I bought Aloe from Avon when it went on sale. It's a pretty big size (not travel size but not jumbo bottle either) and I got them for $1.89 each. I figure more people would remember sunblock then aloe, and everybody always gets sunburned!

I found 36packs of Fruit Of The Earth Aloe Vera Gel (travel sizes) on amazon.com for around $22 before shipping. It ended up being under a dollar for each.

Thats a great deal! Wish I could find a good deal like that on aloe, I keep searching.
