I have less than 3 months to go and my emails are being responded to extremely slowly (once every few weeks). 

I have yet to discuss any details with them, I confirmed my date long time ago but since then there has been little communication! 

should I worry or this is normal?

More like once a month. And they constantly request the same information I have already sent them but never answer my questions to them.

October 30th, looks like are dates are close together. I think I will call them this week. It's stressing me out that I can't continue with planning details. Anyone else have this problem before?

Hey guys! Anyone interested in sharing a photographer? I'm getting married November 20th (at Akumal Beach) If you are withing 5 days of this, and are interested in sharing the costs...let me know!

Also, I'm looking at ordering some maracas for my wedding. Anybody have any ideas on where I can order them? I'd prefer to order them ahead of time to a place down there, so I don't have to bring them down with me, and pay shipping etc...

 

Looking at probably needing 90 maracas (so 45 sets)...and would like them personalized (nothing special just our names and date)

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I finally got a response from Maria answering most of my questions. I want the private reception by the pool which was said to be $60 a person. We have 90 people so  it adds up to be quite a bit but I still prefer it this way rather than having dinner and reception at different spots. And I was told I had to pick one main course for everyone so now this way everyone gets to choose from a variety set up. We chose the BBQ menu. 

 

I did ask her what the options are in case of rain, so waiting to hear back regarding that.

It is possible to have it, however it will most likely have to go after the official ceremony (done in Spanish).  And you'll want to have a family member read it so your guests can understand it.

So, another user sent me the 2015 packages and I've been tentatively planning what we want so we can budget accordingly. I have a couple of questions just to clarify what is written in the packages, as it doesn't look like the 2014 packages that I received earlier this year.

 

Speaker with microphone (cord to connect a mobile) 70 USD/hr ---- is this the setup for using an iPod instead of the DJ, or is it literally just the microphone and speakers for speeches etc?

 

Live Music - at wedding ceremony or a private dinner (included in unforgettable package) - If we're using recorded music during the ceremony would they play during the toast after the ceremony?
