I think his pricing depends alot on what's in season and what isn't. I know there's a thread around here that tells you what flowers are in season in Mexico in each month. Also, maybe research the specific types of flowers you want and tell him those?

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. :(

Hi Do you happen to know where I can find this thread? It's probably just me looking in the wrong place :-)

Ladies I am getting so frustrated with Marvin.  I know he has great reviews and everything but his communication with me has been terrible.  Sometimes it takes him 20 days to get  back to me:(  I don't know what to do I'm nervous about sending him a deposit and him not showing up or something to my wedding.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I don't understand why he isn't answering me in a timely manner.  I feel like a week is a fair amount of time but 3 weeks to answer an email is terrible.  Grrrrrrrrr

I feel your frustrations...he is very hit and miss with emails.  I just continue to resend the same email every day and he'll eventually get back to you- if you read from previous reviews- this is what he does- he's on Mexican time and even though it takes forever to respond to your emails, you will get your beautiful flowers on your wedding day!

I was married on November 23, 2012 at Sun Palace and used Marvin.  My flowers were delivered on time and were gorgeous! The only thing that was wrong with them was that the ribbon was supposed to be a royal blue as we had discussed and how it was written in my purchase order, but the ribbon ended up being a light blue as was in the sample picture- not the end of the world but it was frustrating at the moment!

Here is a picture of my flowers- the bridesmaids were the same just smaller! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
