Good Job Ladies!!  Keep at it.  Can't wait to see how you all feel at the end.

Elissae - unfortunately I'm still doing PT for my knee.  I've been on the stationary bike a few times but I am so anxious to start doing more.  I have an obstacle course race in the beginning of April and I am getting nervous that I wont be ready.  Hopefully it's not much longer (fingers crossed)!!

Ah so cool that there's an Insanity Thread!!! I am going on Week 4 right now. I LOVE this workout. I am also doing a 30 Day hot yoga challenge but I think a lot of my results are coming from Insanity. I am excited to finish this month off and then go onto month 2. I have never been so motivated in a workout program. Just gotta start eating properly! Are any of you following the diet? I don't eat poorly but I'm not sure that I'm getting enough protein.

That is awesome you are doing Insanity and a Yoga challenge!! I'm starting month 2 tomorrow and I'm not going to lie, I know it's going to be brutal and I'm a bit scared. I haven't been following the eating plan because I can't have whey protein. I've been eating balanced meals and using my fitnesspal to track calories which has been very helpful and eye opening to how much calories I was consuming before Insanity. It definitely keeps me in check.

WELCOME LADIES!

I just started month 2 this morning.  I had to get up extra early since I had to comeplete Fit Test #3 and then do Max Interval Circuit.  Looks like month 2 goes to 1 hour workouts from 40 mins!  I think we were pretty spolied last month! haha

I am not following the Insanity Diet, hoewever, I am a LIFETIME Weight Watchers member so I have been just doing my WW.  Although, I am gainign a little weight, however, I am assuming it's muscle.  I actually weigh in this Friday so I am going to try and be GOOD with my food intake!  Stay within my daily points.

Keep up the great work!!!

Kudos to all the ladies sticking w/ Insanity!  I completed the series a couple months back, and now just pop in the DVDs on days when I can't make it to the gym.

I don't adhere to strict diets or count calories. For me personally, I don't see the point if you adhere to portion control and are mindful of the types of food you put into your body (sat. fat, cholestoral, sugars). I eat about 5-6 times a day and consume +/- 100 grams of protein a day, but this is also because I incorporate isolated weight training into my fitness routine.

Just as a side note and to keep things in perspective regarding muscle gain for those paying attention to the scale and trying to asses muscle loss/gain vs fat loss/gain...women on average, can naturally put on about a 1lb of muscle per month with proper diet and fitness/weight training regimen.   This is especially true for those just getting started but as your body acclimates to the conditioning (after the first 6 months or so), monthly muscle gain will actually drop below 1lb per month.

Hey ladies! I'm currently in the second week of the second month and that first week was brutal! I'm feeling much better now and am able to get more done in the workouts this week. I haven't been following the diet plan that came with it but I've decided to live a healthier lifestyle overall and make healthier food choices. Also, to help me stay accountable with my journey I started a page on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/LiveWellLookGreat Live Well, Look Great that I'd love for you all to join me at for motivation, helpful tips and an all around good time connecting!

Hey ladies!! How's everyone's workouts going?? I started month 2 this morning and holy crap it's tough!! Not to mention, it took me a few tries to get the exercises down. I felt pretty uncoordinated, confused and slow during the workout hahah. This is the sorest I've been so far, so that must be a good sign!

Elissae: I do Weight watchers too (the online) so I can track what I eat. I LOVE that program and not having to worry about counting calories.

Chocotaco: Have you done the Asylum as well? I will be sad when this workout is done so I was thinking about ordering it.

And yeah I gained a few pounds too but it's definitely muscle. I can't believe how awesome my cardio is!! I have always been active and I'm obsessed with yoga but my cardio has never been this great since Insanity!

Do any of you hear the annoying music from the Insanity workout in your head when you go to eat something bad? lol I do!! Must be losing it!!

I guess there's a few of us on month 2 now!!  Wooooo hooo!! Way to go!!!! cheer2.gif

Hey pokeyholly,

It's funny you mentioned Asylum because I've been doing that for a bit now and was wondering if anyone else was doing it. It's been hard with no breaks so I've given myself a lot and fallen off the wagon a bit. I'm still doing like 4 days a week but I'm hoping this week I'm back up to 6 (I am keeping my sunday rest day, I'm not that insane)

You should know that Asylum is a bigger investment but if you always want to keep on with your workouts. I think its worth it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
