JUST GOT BACK FROM OUR WEDDING :)

Will upload pics soon, I have to say what pretty much every other bride has said. Don't worry, they know what they're doing and I am SO happy, my guests were so happy with everything. The only think I was stressed out about which was out of my control was the weather LOL  Silvia is so cute, so nice and we all just loved her!

@RFFL< Check out PuntaCanaTours.com you can find a lot of excursions on their for your bachelorette, they also have a facebook page. As far as night clubs, I would probably just use the resorts, just for safety, I am not sure how the local night clubs are with tourists.

@KChenard, Congratulations!!!! I can't wait to see your pics and I am glad you had a great wedding!

Would you be able to post any pics?

The DJ does provide MC at an additional cost...not sure exactly how much it is, but your wedding coordinator should be able to give you that number.

I will attempt to post some pictures!

@KChenard- Your pictures are gorgeous! I am getting married on the beach too. Did you wear shoes?? I want to see the front of you, but your dress is amazing. Where did you have your reception? Thanks for sharing. It's so great seeing everyone's weddings come to life!

Thank you to both rlm and kchenard for posting pics!!! Both of you look like you had a beautiful day! I'm still thinking about doing a dj, or just using iPod, I just can't seem to decide!

@ rosepetal & @jennifer I will upload some more pictures. I did not wear shoes on the beach, My entire wedding party went barefoot. We had our reception by the pool. We all wore flip flops there. I did not pay for a dance floor and paid for the sound system and brought an IPOD. After we went to the nightclub to continue partying. The sound system comes with a man that stands there watches it. At first I was confused I thought they just gave me a DJ. He had his laptop with some music on it and it was more slow wedding music he played during the dinner because on our IPOD all I put on was dance music

    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
