Thanks for sharing Sfra and Acutie! Kate did an amazing job and fooled me for a minute. Does anyone know if the poolside will accomodate 130 guests? I am scheduled to have my reception on the beach under tents but there is always the risk of heavy winds. Also, has anyone had a rehearsal dinner planned at the resort. Christina shared something about the hotel being able to accomodate a free rehearsal dinner during a night of my choice. Is this accurate info she is giving me?

Thank you everyone for posting all of this information! Im am in the process of booking my wedding here for January 2013 and i am so excited especially with seeing everyoneâ€™s posts and pictures Has anyone done a 'build your own' package as opposed to going with one that they offer? Im interested in the beach wedding with the chairs ect but im not really looking to have a full reception afterwards (just dinner) because i am having a reception when we get back. Im also bringing a photographer down with us so im not interested in having my pictures done through the resort. Any help or advise would be great

To all the future Now brides in the planning process, I was wondering which options you were given by the WC for your private reception location? I feel very limited in our options and was wondering if anyone had gotten other locations. Here is what Mercy gave me in March: "For a private wedding reception, by now we can offer you the beach, our relaxing pool (from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m), Eclipse night club (open for private events until 9:00 p.m.), Carnival Terrace, or one of our ballrooms."

I was given the same locations but I was not told that the club is only up to 9pm. That's were I was planning to have my reception. I'm going to have to call them because that will not work for me . My ceremony is at 6pm.

I'm with you Mayrose. That's the same response I got. I don't think it's right. They have definitely changed up a lot of things.

WOW! I have been following this forum for a while - its been like an epic saga at times!! I'm getting married Jan 26th ... Trying not to stress... I actually live in Korea, so its makes things EXTRA difficult for transporting and DIY projects - but this forum has REALLY helped me! Thanks everyone for sharing! And good luck!!

are you talking about regualar paper lanters?if yes, i think they are allowed, i saw pic of the weddig there and they had paper lanters. Im bringing some too

FYI-Cristina had to leave the resort on family leave, therfore my wedding which is a practically a month away will be handled by someone else ):

Hello everyone! This is my first post on here, looking at Now Larimar and Dreams Palm Beach for December and had a question...I read that the pool reception has to end at 10:00, is this true for all reception locations at Now Larimar? If so, is there another place at the resort (bar, etc.) to take the party after 10:00?
Also, does anyone know what ceremony locations are available for Now?
